Apparently that is correct. Some people reported this before, too. I don't know is there any reason why betcoin.tm decided to disable bonus when you are trying to gamble with live dealers?

Most likely intended, I don't see them giving you cash to play live dealers with.

It's a bit of a VIP section, thus you need real money to be able to play.

Then I decided to try the live casino to see how that works. I click 'live dealers' then 'europe' but my bonus has disappeared and all I have left is my old poker winnings:



Does the bonus not work for 'live dealers'?  When I read about the bonus it told me I could clear the wagering requirements by playing "any of our games".

The rules you posted only mention earning XP by winning stuff - so how did I level up by losing?

I think that 'winnings' should be an amalgam of 'total stake' and 'winnings' that can be separated. Let me refine that a bit.

I'm surprised how much they're giving away to be honest. It must be costing them a small fortune.

It's tricky getting people to switch poker sites, and even trickier to get them to risk their own money once they've come for the freebies. It will be interesting to see how much action there is at betcoin.tm once the free money dries up.

I'm 100% agree that their promos are more than generous!. In past 20 days I won over 900mBTC from freerolls and LB.

BUT I'm not OK with the way they cut those promos. Suddenly, quietly like "lets cut them, I'm sure nobody will notice it" thinking. Why we should announce it like the "Huge" one and so on. For example Tournament Champions SNGs lasts just 1-2 hours after there was enough eligible players to start playing it for 1-st time.

You must be out of your mind if we think you guys don't notice stuff. We are finding a balance that keeps people interested while protecting our own interests. We will continue to update them until they are a) fun and b) allows people to play at cash games as well. To be 100% candid - it's not great for our new players to come in and see that the only way to play is for free. A lot of people like the risk so we have to accommodate both types. We are still giving away a lot of BTC, and it looks like people are enjoying that, but there is more than one way to play poker and we have to make sure to make everyone comfortable.

I can't remember which casino does this off the top of my head, but this is a pretty common addition to the terms - albeit ours is admittedly a bit under-defined.

For example - user gets a 'big win' and then bets on lower odds to clear his bonus. That user is thereby disqualified. Our system just adjusts the stake amount put toward the rollover based on the odds, so we don't have to be quite that heavy handed, but the fact remains that there are entire portals dedicated to 'beating' bonuses. If someone is using these methods, we put it before a security review team and everyone looks at the findings. Usually it's pretty obvious.

You have a 388x wagering requirement. There's no way of "beating" that without getting very lucky.

If someone bets at 95% chance of winning to get through the WR quicker, I don't see how that is in any way "abusive". And if you do, you need to say up front that bets at 95% chance or higher aren't allowed when clearing the bonus. Otherwise you're the ones being abusive by being unclear about your rules.

I don't think I got an answer to this.

Can you be clear about what bets are allowed while working on a bonus and which are not? I would hate to work through the bonus, get amazingly lucky and clear it without going bust, and then have you disqualify me because I broke some unwritten rule.

So how about you make the rules explicit up front? All I have so far is that anyone who "bets on lower odds to clear his bonus" is disqualified. What is the line below which odds are too low? Are there any games which are safe to play without risking disqualification?

The bonus isn't accessible while playing poker, so if I make a profit in poker does it go into my regular balance such that I still have it if I cancel the bonus?

That would make the most sense, since when I risk chips in poker I am risking non-bonus chips, so any profit should be considered outside of the bonus. Right?

It doesn't work very well. There is no way of telling which cards are held and which aren't. Possibly because the link to the bootstrap code is a 404.

I found through experimentation that I could hold cards by clicking on them once. There is no graphical representation that the cards are held, but when I make the 2nd deal the cards I clicked on don't change.

Except when I get a good starting hand. I got two pairs, clicked on the 4 paired cards, redealt, and they all changed!

I guess what was happening was that the game was auto-holding the two pairs for me, and my clicks were un-holding them.

Sigh. What a mess.

This just cost me 10.5 BTC from my bonus.

It is possible to see that clicking the cards changes something by inspecting the card element.

When a card isn't held, it looks like this (the "HOLD" has class ng-hide):

I'm happy to give you a bug bounty - but you're missing the point of the bonus, I think.

You CAN win the bonus (and people have) with a large amount of patience and luck. It is a no risk bonus with a huge amounts to allow players (especially those coming from the fiat world) to experiment with a new system and to check our provably fair games to learn more.

Since Bitcoin in Casinos is becoming more popular, the need for this bonus is diminishing - we are coming up with a bonus that is more along the lines of "$25 with a 60x Rollover" as an example. Don't hold me to that because I'm just throwing numbers out - the real stats are as of yet undecided.

Regarding your earlier question about the rules - it's not 'against the rules' to bet on the Live Dealers platform. You just literally cannot do it. It won't work. Betting in a manner that is unambiguously designed to unlock the bonus is against the rules in almost every casino... We're not doing anything new there.

I understand the point of the bonus, but it's annoying to lose more than half of the bonus due to a bug in a game rather than to bad luck or bad play.

It would be useful to have a definition for this "unambiguously designed to unlock the bonus" criterion. Everyone who plays wants to unlock the bonus, on some level. Your criterion could be reworded as "if they are trying to unlock it we will cancel it" without changing its meaning much. As it stands, very few people will ever unlock any bonus, and when they do you would have no problem claiming they were playing in a way that was designed to unlock it, and so they can't have it. That isn't fair.

That sounds dangerous. People will try to exploit any +EV bonus you offer.

1jade and 1btc, on winning bet you will get btc when you bet with jade, but you will only lose your jade on losing bet. So the more you get winning bets with jade, the more btc you get.
i.e you bet 1jade and get 10 great winning streak on x2, so you will have 10btc on your account.
