I think "Kaspersky" of course!
malware is the best anti virus and free to download
I've used Kaspersky  for years and found it to work fine. Also a program called Malwarebytes can work well to find and quarantine anything that may find its way into your PC. However the best thing to do is to be careful of anything which you install onto your computer. Read up on things so that you don't install malware is virus installers.
Kaspersky and Malwarebytes, use those, good luck.

I'v been using BitDefender for 3 years now.  It seems to catch most of the viruses.  Have not had any issues.

I just don't run suspicious executables or at least run them in a virtual machine.
I regularly screen for unknown executables with Security Task Manager

Just using Malwarebytes and Windows Defender and nothing terrible has happened. I dont want to install other software to be the "primary anti virus" because I dont like bloating my pc.

I think no Antivirus is good, but if you want one that can detect a lot of malware you should go with Malwerebytes
