I'd buy 50 btc but no more. The rest I'd use to pay off my house, and some would go into the stock market.

I would invest in more solar panels and start a semi-large scale mining operation, I think that would get me the best ROI. I would probably also just buy some more Bitcoin with the money I have left.

I gather this is a million dollars clear after any taxes, correct? Otherwise, everyone's forgetting about the dreaded taxes. I wouldn't want to be like Richard Hatch and forget this important consideration.

Yes, definitely! How much I really dont know, i would not spent it all on bitcoins for sure, but I will buy enough to have for gambling, spending and for sure something to have in some paper wallet that will wait future to come. But this is something that I can just dream to happen, for me luck is not an option for everything I need to work, work, work, work...

I gather this is a million dollars clear after any taxes, correct? Otherwise, everyone's forgetting about the dreaded taxes. I wouldn't like to be like Richard Hatch and forget this important consideration. I would assume that the million is after taxes. If I won a million dollars, after taxes, I would set aside ~$500k for a house and a car, not necessarily anything too fancy, but a decent house in a decent place. I would take ~$30k for Bitcoin investments, and shuffle $400k into various savings accounts, education debt payments, and other similar things. I'd use the remaining $70k for leisure money, spread it out over multiple years.

20%
Same % of any other big win until the million digit.
I suspect that BTC will be more lucrative, but of course other investments will be safer

I would put $790,000 into btc, bury $200,000 stash of gold somewhere, then travel all over the world, not giving a fuck, cashing out into whatever the local currency is as needed.

If I won a million dollars, I'll buy/build my dream house and lot first. Then half of the remaining amount will go to setting up and running a charity to help my people around me and also all over our country. The rest will go to bitcoin, I'll buy bitcoin as much as I can with the remaining amount hoping to double my investment in the next few years. I believe on bitcoin

$100,000 on traveling until I was super bored of it. $500,000 on real estate. $100,000 stays in cash for those little incidentals. The rest goes on bitcoins.

At least 200k would go into bitcoin. Obviously I would wait to become the price lower.I think the 370 area is a good moment to buy. The rest of my money would go to some real estate and offcourse other investments.

If that happens that I win a million dollars in one night I will just buy 250K dollars worth of bitcoin of 300K. With that I will just hold it for a long time that the price increase. Of course I will watch if the bitcoin price is good to buy.

I'll spend 50% on bitcoins and spend that 25% on bitcoins on making a casino and advertising it and the next 25% just waiting for the price to rise

When I win such like amount, I will first be able to remove the 10% and give it to the local church that I attend as part of tithe. I will then take a 10% of the remaining amount and do use it to pay my dues and bills,. The remaining amount i will be able to use it for buying, selling and even mining the coins. I value the coins a lot since they always give me a higher return than any other business. I will not spend less but more and more so as to gain more. Trading is what I do.

Lets say you won the lottery..
You've just received a million dollars and are ready to do something with your new found money.
You have no CC debt to pay off and have an average mortgage for a working class citizen - maybe you have around $150,000 left to pay off for your house.
You're free to spend as you wish. And invest if you wish.
Would you buy a heap load of bitcoin to sit on?
If so.. how much?
oh nice dream,i hope sometime i won lottery and i would buy 10BTC,its enough for me,because i'm sure, bitcoin price will rise some day,and reach $1000 again.

Buy 800 BTC, pay off debts, start a bitcoin company or mining operation, save the rest.

That is a nice thought experiment i'm not sure i would do what i think here and now but after paying off the home and investing in gold and few precious metals i'd invest around 50% in bitcoin when i felt the time was right. I would say from $1,000,000 i'd invest maybe $250,000 into bitcoin and $50,000 into the silver bitcoin.
