at least, if we doing gambling with cryptocurrency, we don't have to use our own money and we can get free coins from the faucet that is available on the gambling site. for me, playing gambling is not just for money and money is not everything because I want to feel the gambling games and I still want to know more about gambling game. but I realize that in out there, many people or gambler that still chasing money as their purposes in gambling and I don't want to be like them.

If your main aim is just to feel the games without risking any money, you are not gambling at all. We are here talking about real gambling, not about playing games. Both are obviously different, if you want to feel the game only then just go to online games or anything else where money is not even involved.
Gambling is absolutely for money, the difference is that some gamblers may not chasing it too much means that they wont be sad of losing money because they are enjoying the game while they are risking their money at the same time.

I think, money is just a medium, it is not the focus for some of the gamblers and it is not everything.

Tell me what is their focus then. We have established already that it wouldn't be fun when money is not involved anymore. So what is it? Kids are playing cards or poker using fake money. Even if it's just play money, they are still getting that hit of dopamine because they were able to feed their greed even with a fake currency. Some are also playing cards and then the loser have to face the winner's chosen consequence. It usually a truth or dare but sometimes the loser gets punishment which is as simple as getting lipstick painted on their face. I do not believe 100% in your opinion that money does not matter in gambling. Almost 90% of the gambler play gambling because they want to win big amount in less time. Similarly, all of the casino and online gambling sites are made to earn money from them. So for both of them, Money is the most important factor. Their might be few situation in which people play gambling just for time pass but it is very seldom.

That is one absolute fact that majority of gamblers always want to deny but in reality and if we really want to face the truth, most gamblers are simply on the verge of wanting to make more money from gambling which is what makes them come into gambling in the first place and the main reason why a lot of people always end up as an addict eventually.

For some reasons, this can actually be something worth gambling for, but in reality, even with the social connection, it is not like you will simply end up being able to connect with anyone that easily unless something gets to tie you both together in a way.

First my father, he do not really gamble to have an extra income, he always say to me that its just for fun, which is true because he didn't do it simultaneously/ not often. Also he have his pension that gives him extra money to do want he wanted to do.

Yes, it's depend on the person/the gambler. For rich people, money is not the problem in gambling but for not rich people, of course money is everything when it comes into gambling.

I really would not say it is about being rich or being poor as it depends on each person's mindset. Trust me, it is not everyone that is rich that worked for the money and some even got it on a platter of gold which is the reason they may not value it so much and then tend to waste it all away in the hope of making more.

You’d actually be surprised the people you’d meet, their life stories and maybe you could even start a friendship with them. You can also learn a lot from them. With these connections, your networks will grow and you’d have more referrals. Who knows? You might need their help in the future.

I really wouldn't rely on such connections. A friendship that is bonded by a bad habit can easily be broken when you decided that you don't like that habit anymore. Sure, you'd find good people there. But your "friendship" can only go as deep. The only shared interest that you guys have is that you are both gamblers. Other than that, it really is hard to find someone who has the same interests as you. If you're gambling for social connections, I'd say go out more with the people that are in the same field as you are. For example, if you are in the fashion industry, go out for dinner with your other fashionable friends and make them bring their friends. Simply befriend your friends' friends that have the same interest. This way, your social network will be a lot more specific. It will be a lot more targeted.

And since you're spending money in gambling just to have social connections anyway, you might as well spend that money to treat your new friend a meal. I don't think so, some of the gamblers play just for fun, so we can not say they focus on money.

But the sole reason why gambling is fun is because it's rewarding and the reward comes in the form of money. I wonder, since people don't wanna focus with the winnings, what would happen if we remove money in the scenario. Would it be as rewarding to bet on dice games without the money? The reality is that most of the gamblers we have today are so much focused on the money aspect of it and they tend to forget that as long as your put money first in your reason for gambling, then you are already making a terrible mistake that can make you lose out so much at the end of the day.

They are professionals and most of us are not, meaning they are lot more experienced when it comes to gambling than us and there there is no doubt that they are making money with gambling. So, they make money and we can't even if we wanted to, gambling is not for us and that is the whole point of quitting believing that we could make money on it. Some pretty good point of reference, Absolutely; the truth is that everyone will always have a way of dealing with things personally which in this case makes the difference between your dad and your uncle.

For most part of it, busy people who make huge money from their being busy tend to have less time to gamble and then even if they do, they just see it as a way to while away time and probably win some money in the process but not like they bank on it so much but for a lot of people that are less busy, do not have much doing, they are usually the ones that are more prone to focusing so much on the money.

I am trying to wrap my head around what you are implying. By not sticking with the idea of making money from gambling, I guess what you are saying is that you can gamble to just make a statement on how good you are in the game to maybe the fellow gamblers. for instance in the game of poker, you want to prove to the rest of the poker players that you are a king in the game and it is simply not just because you want to take home the money of everyone on the table. Unfortunately, larger percentage of gamblers do not think this way at all, and they would rather focus on what brought them to gambling which is money than focusing on reality.
