I'm on the fence about sending hash to this... it'd be miner friendly if the blocks were spaced a minute, but three minutes is a lot of grinding.

Upon looking at the specs of the coin and how mining is going this coin is actually not too bad especially with the block times & re-targeting.

The total BRONZ coin cap also plays into affect which is good with mining, network hash power and coin distribution.

IMHO 3 minute block times with 3 block adjustments is pretty sufficient to keep things running while providing incentive.

This coin could truly be the next Bronze to Litecoins silver Grin

Well here is some of the things that BitBronze betters on, BTW did you read the Roadmap ?

Lower Coin Cap, Lower Reward, Not too slow mining, Reliable Difficulty Re-Target, Dev (Me) won't run away & bail on the coin, It isn't designed for coins to be mined quickly but is quick enough to perform everyday Transactions reliably.

There is probably a lot more to mention but you get my drift.

Yep, higher than average blocktime (3 min) also means smaller blockchain = much faster sync time, and less bloat on the PC = lighter wallet.

Will watching this coins, how about the market Dev ? when this coin get added to the market..

The December portion of the Roadmap + Extras have been completed.

As for your question on Markets, going by the Roadmap plans for January I hope that BitBronze will be listed on 2+ Exchanges so I can continue on with the Roadmap Development although it is a continuous process anyway with all the features.

A Market for BRONZ might be necessary in your eyes right now just so you feel that your coin has worth, although it might not be the worth that you are looking for if you sell early or at all.

Buckle in, Sit tight, Get comfy & Hold on as BitBronze is here to stay !

Ya that's the only thing that kind of convinced me to maybe give this a whirl lol Like I said I'm usually a POW/POS guy but I haven't mined anything in forever nevermind a straight POW coin Smiley Hopefully being straight POW will be reason enough for Dev to give it a good go at making it worth something Smiley Plus nice to mine something that isn't half ICO or stupid Newbie account for once as well LOL Cheers

I'm just glad that it's not your usual shiny shiny flashy flashy mine me mine me buy me buy me gimmick like so many other Alts use to draw people into lol I'm happy with plain jane coins as long as they work right from the get go and have no problems and as long as the Dev has plans for making the coin into something better along the way Smiley

I've been mining this ever since I found out about it, under 1K blocks in the first few days is a pretty decent effort considering the specifications of this coin.

I can tell mining blocks is competitive and the rewards aren't as abundant as other coins I have seen which will keep things undiluted for a long time.

Tired of coins that are there 1 moment & then gone the next ?

Sick of PoS coins with Hyper Inflation or Low Interest not worth staking ?

Fed up with constant CPU usage from keeping your "staking coin" wallet open ?

Then BitBronze may be for you !

That reads like a late night infomercial. If I order now will you throw in a second for free if I pay S&H?  Grin
OMG if the SHAMWOW guy was still alive it would be totally awesome to get him to do the video for this coin lmao That would rock!!!

What about Vince with the SlapChop

"You're gonna love my nuts"

 Grin
Ya that's the same dude mate lol I totally forgot that he did the slapchop as well lmfao that's way better infomercial lmfao

That's so awesome. Maybe he can do a commercial for BRONZ if he's got some extra time on his hands.  Grin
Dev. You should reach out and see if you can get him to work for this project. That would be so awesome.
That guy from those infomercials is dead mate that's what I was saying lol Although it would be wicked to get him to do a crypto commercial if he wasn't dead lol But anyways back to coin business lol What are the plans for BitBronze Dev? I hope a steady growth of the coin is one of the ideas that you got going on Smiley I hate coins that get launched hit an exchange and dump really quickly and die out so I'm hoping that the slower POW phase for this coin will help keep a steady growth of this coin when it hits an exchange Smiley Cheers

  Not trying to be an arse in correcting y'all, but just wanted to spread hope that there is actually an opportunity for him to do an infomercial for BitBronze. You see, Vince Offer, known for the ShamWow and SlapChop infomercials, is well, alive , and kicking. He is still doing work, his latest being the "DaVinci Pro" - a combination vegetable peeler and cutting knife.
  The "infomercial" guy that you are thinking of, I'm sure, is Billy Mays - known for OxiClean, OrangeGlo, Kaboom, and dozens of other pitches. He died June 28 2009 due to heart disease aggravated by minute levels of cocaine, hydrocodone, oxycodone, and tramadol, as well as anti-anxiety drugs alprazolam and diazepam. Mays had been suffering from hip problems and was scheduled for hip replacement surgery the day after he was found dead.

Ok I see that this "Vince" guy is fairly awesome at what he does with selling things quickly but his personal life might reflect badly upon BitBronze IMHO.

On this note:

Any exchanges being planned on yet?
I dunno I asked that same question earlier but didn't hear anything back so hopefully we will hear something soon Cheesy

I have already answered that in a Prior page:

But since everyone is on edge about their coin holdings value I will submit the applications for coin submission to the majority of Exchanges so then it is up to the community & miners to get the word of BitBronze out there to the masses.

road map step 1
launch a coin with a source, wallets, pool, and twitter account
i'm impressed with the work gone into just that one step alone, shows that this coin will moon

edit...
no wait, twitter wasnt even added to the OP til post#23 wtf ??

I think I might try my luck with this coin, it will be my first Altcoin to mine Grin

I just got some Scrypt hardware (ASIC's), hope I get a decent amount of rewards although this coin looks hard to mine.

I wish you good luck with your mining Smiley

Also the OP has been updated with a Twitter account, don't forget to Follow & Re-Tweet to one and all about how much you love BitBronze Cool

The roadmap says December and I am pretty sure we are still in December hahaha Cheesy

Maybe the dev had a twitter account with the sushinotomato username and had to change everything to BRONZ ? That would be the most plausible conclusion from doing some research.

Wow this coin has come along so nicely, it's such a sleeper.

I'm getting there slowly but surely with earning rewards from mining, only if there was an exchange to start buying them on or even a Buy/Sell thread for BitBronze then I could get my hands on a decent share.

I have sent Coin Submissions/Voting Requests to YoBit, Bittrex, Poloniex, C-CEX & Bter.

I will submit a request for Voting addition to Cryptopia Exchange once a Website gets setup for BRONZ.

  Hope it's OK Dev, but  I tweeted an add request to a few of the exchanges. Those interested should do the same. Not an urgency though. I think this coin will have the exchanges coming and looking for us. Strong, with growth potential.

Feel free to retweet this or share this folks or even tweet something like this yourselves https://twitter.com/Camp220NCompany/status/677303897199915008

Also and this is just my opinion but BitBronz with its SPECS and the block time and rewards should set a steady floor around 25k Smiley So I urge everyone that holds some BitBronze to not sell their coins for anything less!! The people will pay for the coins when they see that everyone else wants it as well so don't give the ones you mined up for cheap Smiley Cheers

No Premine/ICO/IPO or Crowdfunding but 18 Blocks I mined during a few days before launch to make sure transactions and difficulty adjustments were working properly.

You can see them on the Block Explorer if you look http://www.multifaucet.tk/index.php?blockexplorer=BRONZ

Nice work Dev, it really shows you are committed to this coin by answering questions appropriately and promptly plus when doing something you go all out with no holding back.

I wonder if Bter will eventually pick this up... it would be very good for BitBronze if they did.

Keep up the good work, I know this coin will be here for a long time in crypto space.

Net hashrate is what adjusts the dificulty mate, if big power jumps on it will adjust the difficulty every 3 blocks also note that if blocks are getting found a lot quicker then 3 minutes makes the difficulty do that.

You can't just expect to mine blocks every 1 second-2 mins and for the difficulty to stay that way, we arn't in 2013 hahaha   Wink

BTW the average is 20 blocks per hour at normal 3 minute block times with steady hashrate, which makes it 480 blocks per day, remember net hashrate, difficulty and block times also contribute to this.

This thread has gone really silent and where is the dev?
This seems to have turned into some kind of dumpfest, not that my buy orders have filled yet. Question is should they maybe be removed so as though not to collect another bag?

Here's why

    "difficulty" : 70.99555668,
    "errors" : "",
    "generate" : false,
    "genproclimit" : -1,
    "hashespersec" : 0,
    "networkhashps" : 134877943,

Might take some time, but a block will be found eventually

  Yea. Talk about crazy, Floz is definitely that. Thought about picking some up, but I think I would be getting in too late. Who knows though, it could keep going up. I think after the holidays the bottom will drop out. We'll see.

Wondering why would Dev run away at this stage.? There was practically no premine on this coin, no ICO, nothing to make him profit, for him to scam and disappear.
He had to mine together with others, so could make some profit just like any other miner. But I suppose he paid for Yobit listing. It is small amount, but anyway. Was there any more or less serious trading which could justify the costs and make noticeable profit? Apparently not (please correct me if I'm wrong).

Then why he started it and dropped..? Had nothing else to do?

If the coin works, then it only need to joined for more users, 200 satoshis  is the actual price quite cheap, i will wait a little more and probably will buy some (of course the risk is high without DEV)

Well, I care Smiley. I have seen too many great and perfectly working coins (both PoS and PoW), which faded off after developer have left. I suppose no need to list them here, everyone here has such list in mind...

I just opened my BitBronze wallet & have connections & in sync...

I have 10 Nodes connected & the last block was found roughly 7 days ago (Block 4723)

You must be doing something wrong... Have you tried port forwarding or putting the client on the firewall exemption list ?

It just needs more hashpower to get to the next difficulty change then it will go back to normal.

bronz.suprnova.cc is probably the more mined on pool, you should probably switch there and the difficulty is hashpower dependent for the last 3 blocks.

The majority of the Roadmap so far has been completed besides the Games & Payment Processing section, I feel that there isn't a big enough community for BitBronze at this point in time to warrant a community decision to vote on creating a "Physical Loadable BitBronze Coin/Token"

Wait for the mined confirmations to occur then it will be available to withdraw.

Just check how many confirmations are left for that block that was found by the pool.

Scrypt ASICs at 60MH/s and so far no change on the blockchain.

I am reading through the source code of the core client, there must be something wrong there.

no, the pool wouldn't cause that. it only puts little portions of hash on the coins to complement the current network hashrates and diff.

I will however, try and push through a block or two now.

no, the pool wouldn't cause that. it only puts little portions of hash on the coins to complement the current network hashrates and diff.

I will however, try and push through a block or two now.

I'm pretty sure it is because of the difficulty adjustment Increase/Decrease every 3 blocks leaves it with crazy high values since it is just a broken estimation.

Just letting whoever is interested in the coin still know that I haven't left I am just thinking about what difficulty adjustment I can add to the source & HardFork the coin so that the crazy difficulty doesn't fluctuate.

I have the code for the DGW3 Re-target method that I would have to adjust for the HardFork of the coin.

At least we know that you aren't dead lol

When would this hardfork be ? It might revive the coin even if there isn't many people involved with it and bring in some fresh blood.

Dev is inactive again, supernova pool has been closed, difficulty is stuck on an insane retarget for a few blocks that even solo mining can't solve...

I think this coin was KIA (Killed In Action) Undecided

I am here still, I just lurk.

On the other hand while I am here would anyone be willing to teamup with myself and reconfigure the coin with some better specs ?

Have you found anyone to help out with the coin yet ?

I don't think adding a different difficulty adjustment algorithm would be that hard...

this beautiful project needs to be translated into some other languages for the benefit of those non-english traders and investors. there are some translators around that can translate this one for a bounty, i can do the Filipino translation. Grin

any working nodes or block explorer?

Not that I know of, the difficulty was stuck at an insane amount for just another generic scrypt coin, the pools were closed and that's the last I heard of it until yesterday with a YoBit pump happening.

Yeah it happens all the time, yobit coins wallets that you can't deposit to or coins with no networks always get pumped there and suck people in Angry

As far as I am aware all services for BitBronze have been switched off... The difficulty got stuck then users left & everything got abandoned due to minimum use and wastage of system resources required to continually run them.

If anyone would like to take this over & resurrect it (Legitly) then you are more then welcome to.

Hmm well in that case the coin should be considered broken, not working in its current state or just plain dead, although what will hardforking bring ? Probably a way for bagholders to get out and a huge back and forth with YoBit to get the wallet updated.
