It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

playing with eMail alerts for the top16 topics. currently at a low trigger score of 100.

if you donated, send an email to alert@<my-domain-see-sig> to get alerts. (you will probably have to look for them in your spam folder).

the fit curve is fixed and some of the charts now show a qualitative info on volume (colors might still change).

I am working on charts to display forum views / post volume.

I had ordered more server space and found out the hard way: "Changes to the package deactivate the python engine." Oh well, python is not their first language.

Hopefully I will soon find the time to move everything to the new vServer the backend is running on already.

And now: 20 USD/BTC     cheers.  Cheesy

Hmm... such a long time really was not what I head in mind.

After all it was not that my webhoster broke mod_python again but I had missed a problem when updating to the new MtGox ticker version... that caused some trouble and stalled the site.  Roll Eyes

My rant: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=150786.msg1688171#msg1688171

Because I first thought it was mod_python's fault again I got an idea how to do things without it which should make things more stable. It's done already but might need some tweaking.
