I had ordered more server space and found out the hard way: "Changes to the package deactivate the python engine." Oh well, python is not their first language.

Hopefully I will soon find the time to move everything to the new vServer the backend is running on already.

Hmm... such a long time really was not what I head in mind.

After all it was not that my webhoster broke mod_python again but I had missed a problem when updating to the new MtGox ticker version... that caused some trouble and stalled the site.

Because I first thought it was mod_python's fault again I got an idea how to do things without it which should make things more stable. It's done already but might need some tweaking.
