Nah bitcoin will be always the second best of all the currency I think.
The fiat money is always have been using a long time a go so I doubt that it will be useless later.

maybe not useless but it could have a minor role, like bitcoin is now

i guess that poor country have more chance to adopt bitcoin in the case their government collapse

When there is a run away inflation in that country, people will consider bitcoin.

The best country to adopt bitcoin is Argentina or Venezuela.

yeah, but they are waiting for theiy have already a bad economic situation there, are they waiting for their government to collapse?

i think their government are hindering them in some way, otherwise they should proceed and buy bitcoin, i know that the infrastructure there is bad, but they should be able to connect to internet at least

If something is really worth like bitcoin if it goes to 10.000 dollar I don't spec that dollar wont be worth.
Dollar will be always the same only that bitcoin grows and that's it.

Don't worry we wont see a 10.000 dollars I think it will just take so long time to happen or never.

Fiat money will be fiat money and the value of fiat money is in no way dependent on bitcoin. Even though the price of bitcoin rises to $10000, it has nothing to do with the popularity or value of fiat. Because fiat money is/has been every body's money but bitcoin is/can not.

I don't think fiat will be worthless. As long as bitcoin is not adapted world wide,
it will be the same as it is right now
You would still need to exchange to fiat to buy your day to day stuff.

Then much better if bitcoin price will reach $10k and fiat are still there like normal.

Good to see we have a side opportunity to earn money thru bitcoin while at the same time there is still fiat.

Fiat will still be usable but not as attractive as BTC will be more attractive due to price. Would be great to have a few pieces of fiat to keep

as a small emergency and incidentals alongside BTC. These can ride side by side, though the fiat can follow in behind as a shadow.

A btc debit card is a great thing to have, such as Bit-X. That card, you can buy things at a real life store, like you would with any bank card.

if you have a card like that, you can have less fiat, but hold a little fiat in your real life "leather wallet" just for wierd situations, like store

accepts cash only and down debit and credit machines and oddities like that.

As if all bitcoin debit card will accept by all countries.

Learn all the terms first. Even there are lots of bitcoin debit card today it will hard to entered one country because it will passed through legal terms of a country.

Yes because bitcoin needs a tandem for it to become valuable.

If they want the whole world to use bitcoin as main currency and replace all the fiats then definitely there will be no USD to BTC exchange or to any other currency. So it's just the same. 1btc = 1btc.

That sounds very weird but we have also Euro so I think fiat money won't be ever worthless.
We need something to know the price of the things that we have how much money is it worth.
Nice that you explain glad to see it.

Im talking with all the currencies and not just USD as I quoted "there will be no USD to BTC exchange or to any other currency".

Sorry for my bad english as you didn't get my point. Or maybe others too. Well I think I have to edit it. Thanks!

Comparing BTC which is equal to 10000 USD, USD will be worthless. But still people will be using USD, unless and until BTC is accepted globally or atleast oil giant countries accept BTC for their petrol.

it depend how high is the price, and how many someone have, someone with 10k coins at 10k each i'm sure will spend them without thinking, there is no need to hold anymore at that point

Of course tehre is a need to hold at that point. Are you really going to trust the dollar that much to sell all of your Bitcoin at any given point in time? Specially as the future paints us a very uncertain fate for fiat currencies and stocks in general... I don't think it's a good idea to sell all your Bitcoin.

Bitcoin is the only way to have wealth outside of the system.

i said spending not dumping for fiat, i mean he spend his bitcoin directly, which i'm sure at 10k per coins will be utterly possible for almost everyone

Fiat does not have to lose all of its current value for Bitcoin to spike, its the same as why oil can be so low and the currencies of the world have no had a major spike in value. It was just that the demand for oil was filled, and there was an excess available.

Bitcoin can easily spike to $10,000 or more if there are enough people that want to buy into it. This can be the overall increase in Bitcoin's value, this can be because people have read something on a large and reputable news source that is telling them to buy into Bitcoin.

As long as there is a demand for Bitcoin, there will be value for it.

Kind of a trick question because fiat is already worthless.  It used to be backed by gold and is no longer, as well as being printed and printed.  If Bitcoin is 10,000 it means it is on the way to becoming global currency.

I love Bitcoin

The value of fiat drops most of the time due to inflation. That is the reason why bitcoin is popular. Otherwise, I will not use bitcoin.
