tweet me your wallet address for BrightCoin tiprain

atleast 1,000,000 coins from the premine will be spent keeping republicans out of office. fuck Republicans, Mine BrightCoin.

for anyone new to crypto, your BrightCoin wallet wont find connections without you setting up your BrightCoin.conf file first, the first few minutes of this video shows where BrightCoin.conf goes and you can copy the sample brightcoin.conf below exactly to get going quickly, rpc user/pass are values you make up but dont forget those values if you plan to mine

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r-dF8X2_aJI

BrightCoin specs

Algorithm    Scrypt
Coin Name    BrightCoin
Coin Abbreviation    BRC
RPC Port    5584
P2P Port    5583
Block reward    500 coins
Block halving    210000 blocks
Total coin supply    214285714 coins
Premine  1.9999998693333 %
Coinbase maturity    20 blocks
Number of confirmations    6 blocks
blocks until diff adjust. every 10 blocks
time between blocks     60 seconds

Current Bitcoin scalability 6 transactions per second
Current BrightCoin scalability 66 transactions per second

What is this Transactions Per Second (TPS) limit?

The current block size limit is 1,000,000 bytes (1 megabyte), although a small amount of that space (such as the block header) is not available to store transactions.

Bitcoin transactions vary in size depending on multiple factors, such as whether they’re spending single-signature inputs or a multiple signature inputs, and how many inputs and outputs they have.

The simple way to calculate the number of Transactions Per Second (TPS) Bitcoin can handle is to divide the block size limit by the expected average size of transactions, divided by the average number of seconds between blocks (600). For example, if you assume average transactions are 250 bytes,

Bitcoin
6.6 TPS = 1,000,000 / 250 / 600

BrightCoin
66.6 TPS = 1,000,000 / 250 / 60

There seems to be general agreement that Bitcoin in 2015 can handle about 3 TPS with the current average size of transactions.[9][10]

Both old estimates[11] and new estimates[12] place the theoretical maximum at 7 TPS with current Bitcoin consensus rules (including the 1MB block size limit).

Why are you even releasing such coins? It is obvious that it is going nowhere. Maybe some fun instamining but without nodes that is impossible too Grin

Did you already give up on netcoin so quickly?
If you don't want to be taken as a joke I highly suggest you actually put some effort into this.

i have not given up on netcoin. netcoin and brightcoin are very different. netcoin is not open source brightcoin is. netcoin has no premine brightcoin does. netcoin is fun for small miners. brightcoin is a real crypto intended to compete with btc and ltc
