I hope it will happen but its impossible for me maybe on 2030 your dream will be happen.
But i will keep my eyes to stay watching the flunctuate of bitcoins before i sell...

by the time it is 2030 we will know if bitcoin is ready to function as a currency for all people around the world. if that is the case, then $1000 is peanuts. we'll at least see a price in the range of $5000-$10000.

I think it's too soon to say. I think that once it hits $500 it will go back down as fast as it went up and stick around $430 - $450 somewhere around that. You never know what can happen though. For bitcoin to hit we'll need another pump but soon after that happens there will be a dump, seeing as that always happens. I don't expect another 1k before February.

I feels like Bitcoin is gonna touch anywhere between $700 - $800 mark before halving because there will be more transactions of BTC as more and more people have started using Bitcoin for online shopping. I wish it touches $1000 soon I will trade my BTC if it happens.

Agree with you in January price will be around $600 with this positive trend and a lot of good news around there so that $1k can take little more time as than we expected at the moment.

The before mentioned idea of a crash noone believes in isn't so crazy. Everyone hopes BTC is going to shoot up in 2016 due to the halving. Everyone plans to sell after. If there is anything stable and predictable about Bitcoin it's crazy unpredictable movements.

Unless massive amounts of new money flows into BTC, it's a zero-sum game and we cannot all have our cake and eat it too!

What does it mean? 3 possible scenarios:

1. Bitcoin might shoot up in an "unthinkable" manner as if it was June/July already at any point in time between <right now> to the summer, and if everyone and their mother thinks it will stay affordable until at least spring or even summer - think again.

2. Bitcoin might crash back to 300 and go slowly back up and/or sideways.

3. Bitcoin will rise to/stay at 500ish level and slowly rise with an outcome of 1200 USD in summer.

I don't know about you guys, but I find No.3 unlikely and No.2 as well. Wouldn't be surprised if something totally crazy happens.

I'd say that if we hit 1k in January, then  we'll likely crash to 200 or 300 right after.

I'm personally hoping the massive booms are over (350%+ in a month say) and instead we are getting into a more mature phase of slow, consistent growth instead.

1k in Jan could happen, but I think it would be even better if we were at a steady $500 instead.

we can only touch the highest $600-700 before halving block. I hope that after halving block we can reach $1k

$1,000/BTC is probably too low or high, IMO. We will either go slower (~$500 to $700) or much faster (over $2,000) by early Feb.

If you ever watched at charts of Bitcoin you would know Bitcoin can and will shoot upwards very rapidly and very explosively. It could be $1000 by tomorrow easily. It's not the first time Bitcoin doubles in price in a day and it won't be the last.

 The start of the push for block haling will happen a month or two BEFORE the actual halfing (AGAIN), not as an "instant" reaction to the halfing - and the halfing only cuts the reward for mining in half, it does NOT affect the LARGE EXISTING Bitcoin supply.


 Back when the $1200ish peak happened, the supply of Bitcoin was a LOT smaller. Bigger markets tend to move slower as it takes more money TO move them.

If you are really in that kind of belief, then let's have a short quiz today. What are the reasons for $250 to $500 last rally?

After you answer that, asked this to yourself, $450 to $1000 road, how many times does the reasons behind $250 to $500 needed in order to gained that "double price" in a day.

That is too wild speculation. We will not even see $1k in January, let alone $5k. $0.5k is a realistic speculation.

I was spectating too that it can go to 1000 dollars but I don't think it will happen.
We need to see the reality that bitcoin just can't go that fast. It can increase 50 dollars more in one night but not 500 dollars.
We will see what will happen this year.
