Do you think bitcoins will disapear or become unused?

It depends on what sorts of fiscal policy governments have. If the governments are restrained in regards to their money printing and quantitative easing, then there is maybe not as much of a need for bitcoin. But if governments continue to just print money like crazy, devaluing the currencies all around the world, people are figuring it out real quick - with bitcoin that sort of thing can't happen and people are going to just flood to want to use bitcoin instead of dollars or euros or yen.

The only way bitcoin will dissapear or become unused is when it doesn't have any value or use in the world anymore. The market would have to fail for this to happen.
It will be a long time before this will happen. I only see more people getting into bitcoin and I don't know anyone who would jump out.

No matter what nonsense policies governments are throwing at Bitcoin, governments can't do anything to prevent people from using Bitcoin. Yes, they can heavily ban it. But still, they can't prevent people from using Bitcoin.

Even if all the governments force banks to close all bank accounts associated with Bitcoin exchanges and other Bitcoin related services. There are still plenty of possibilities to buy and sell Bitcoin. It's basically impossible to shut down or stop Bitcoin usage without shutting down the internet.

Bitcoin won't just go disappear like that. When bitcoin was going up in 2013. Bitcoin never have gone to zero so I thing that it will just a matter of time that bitcoin will grow and grow in the future. We will see what will happen to bitcoin.

Yes after the 2013 peak time bitcoin faced a very bad time due to mtgox collapse but during that hard time never got traded below $150 level too. So never need to worry on being getting zero valued. Bitcoin got many reasons to be more successful than what levels today it has reached.

Bitcoin's value is purely based on it's demand. So, there are no chances for loosing faith on bitcoin by all the people around the world at one day. For becoming used, all the people around the world need to loose their hope on bitcoin, which is highly impossible to happen. So, we will never see bitcoin gets unused and disappeared.

i can only see an evolution of it in the future, soemthing that make it even more secure maybe and add new features, like bitcoin is an evolution of the current money system

I agree with this. Speculating about the possibility of total disappearance of Bitcoin is like talking about disappearance of the Internet or about disappearance of the human race This won't happen. At least optimists like myself think so. )

For this to happen bitcoin would need to be abandoned by all it's users and owners of bitcoin. Traffic of bitcoin would need to stop in order for this to happen, miners would have to stop mining. Stuff like that, which is unlikely in my eyes. As long as there are people using bitcoins for different kinds of stuff, there will be a bitcoin market. It won't just dissapear or become unused without a good reason.

Though, if there's another cryptocurrency in the future that have more features compared to Bitcoin and people find it useful the might move away from Bitcoin to that Cryptocurrency

Well it really depends if we get a competitor coin.
If you look now there is not much competion, but suppose ethereum get's a more active user ban, then bitcoin will be an 'altcoin', and you know what is happening to most altcoins...

Something big has to happen in order for this to become true.
Either some new currency would have to join the market with the same concept of bitcoin but better and it has to be so successful to beat out bitcoin out of the market.

I do not think that Bitcoin is going to disappear or become unused. Like you said, there are a lot of people that enjoy using Bitcoin, those people will continue to use Bitcoin and over time, more people will learn about Bitcoin. As more shops start to accept it, more and more people are using Bitcoin.

yeah that's true,bitcoin have a good future,and year after year bitcoin also show a good graphics,so many corporation related bitcoin,and i think next year will be decide bitcoin future,so many people next year is the year of bitcoin. i hope so.
