I think in the future where technology is advancing rapidly, bitcoin will not disappear because of the growing age of bitcoin will be increasingly adopted by many people

Yes, for the digital world, bitcoin is the right format of money. When we are moving towards the digitalization of everything, bitcoin would be the obvious form of digital money. So, there are no chances for bitcoin becoming getting unused.

Even though I think that BTC will never disappear, there is always that possibility. There are other possible substitutes for bitcoin and that can become a real menace.
I think bitcoin is a masterpiece of cryptocurrency, there will be no one can match the adoption of bitcoin, although more powerful competitors in the technology

Nothing is impossible. Anything can happen in future, there is small chance that bitcoin will be abandoned and disapear in future, but it's just small chance.

I really hope that in the future when technology is developing, many people will adopt bitcoin as their alternative payment option and bitcoin will grow into the most popular alternative payment option, replacing the other services.

I don't think bitcoins have a good futur. Not much people use them and there is no real use for these people. The problem is that the people that doesn't use it is the majority of the planet. And you, what do you think about this? Will bitcoins have a glorious future or a realy bad one?

I don't think bitcoins will disapear or become unused. you can look the price of bitcoin, keep increasing. that's why i think people will looking for bitcoin if the price keep increase.

I never thought of it before, but I think it's not possible, bitcoin will not disappear or be unused, as long as the internet still exists in the world, I think as long as it also bitcoin will still be there.

Yes, bitcoin must be one of the greatest invention of the century. It is always compared to digital gold. So, when that is in need of medium of exchange digitally than bitcoin must be the suitable solution. There are no chances for bitcoin getting unused forever.

The problem is that if the bitcoin development comes to a standstill, people will just stop using it.
Then it's waiting for it to vanish.

The possibility definitely exists. If we discover another currency that works even better than Bitcoin or if Bitcoin develops in such a way, with such improvements that it can no longer be called Bitcoin, Bitcoin as we know it will definitely disappear or cease to be used.

Until solar system and safer earth exists, bitcoin will exist with us. Because, it is not depending on a single computer or single programmer. Bitcoin is widely spread across the globe along with Internet. So, there are no single force or any government law cannot make bitcoin to disappear.

I can't really see bitcoin going away anytime soon if at all.  If we look at how far bitcoin has come in the last few years where we had a pizza being bought for 10,000 bitcoin to where we are now with companies using it and being taken seriously.

it will take another 5 years at least to see how far bitcoin can go and if it will sink or swim, I would like to say it will be around forever but who knows what will happen.

I don't necessarily understand why you could possibly think that it would just "disappear" to be honest...  Even if Bitcoin were to go below $1 again, in the most extreme of situations, I think it would still be used by some people still.  Regardless, there will always be someone out there in the world who still enjoys using Bitcoins and the features that come along with it.

That's honestly a major flaw with the Bitcoin community; I remember when the price was sinking below $200 not too long ago, and people were writing off Bitcoin in general, and all the posts here on the forum where of topics like "RIP Bitcoin", etc. etc.  It just seems that most people on here use Bitcoin only for "HODL'ing" purposes, rather than to use it as a currency as it should...

Indeed Bitcoin's growing up daily and the price is increasing and it's expected that it will be stable soon
We notice also that many marketplaces ans ewallets started to use biotcoin as payment processor so we can expect great future for the Bitcoin's crypto currency

I fear that such a thing will happen some day. Therefore i keep my coins on a exchange. When the price will fall big time i have me sell orders to cover up losses.

I don't expect this to happen.
So many people are using bitcoins today that we need some real bad news for this to happen.

Something like 80% of the pools stopped mining because some large security bug has been found.

This wont happen, no one can kill bitcoin and make it useless to us. Look at other countries who banned bitcoin, people from them still using/mining bitcoin even if its banned.

Nope. I think it still has a long future ahead of itself. Maybe it will die off in around 100 years.

I cannot see this happening, even if it does not go mainstream I believe that some will still use it.

I love Bitcoin
