I'm not saying this can't happen. But if it will, surely it won't be anytime soon. I mean come on, things are just working ahead for BTCs with new merchants on the game.

Maybe someday become unused or disapear. But for now i hope bitcoin not disapear or become unused, because i can life because bitcoin and i also earn money from bitcoin.
it may not be the top crypto in the future, value might drop also, but for sure, it will not disappear and unused in the future, and maybe it will not happen in our age..  |

I don't think that Bitcoin (and for that matter the other crypto-coins) will survive in the long term. As supercomputers with more and more processing power is created, it will become impossible to securely store the coins in online wallets. The supercomputers will be able to generate the private keys and this will make storing coins extremely hard.

it may not be the top crypto in the future, value might drop also, but for sure, it will not disappear and unused in the future, and maybe it will not happen in our age.. i agree. bitcoin is never going to disappear it is currently the top cryptocurrency with biggest market volume which not coin can even come close to in long periods. it might become less valuable over time but not go away completely. |

nope. i don't think so. bitcoin will not die or dissapear. bitcoin is our future you know, the future is already waiting for bitcoin and we will bring bitcoin as the number one currency in the future |

I don't think bitcoins have a good futur. Not much people use them and there is no real use for these people. The problem is that the people that doesn't use it is the majority of the planet. And you, what do you think about this? Will bitcoins have a glorious future or a realy bad one?
It is obvious at this point with how quickly the world is growing and mixing that we need an international digital currency. A currency that large spread would be incredibly weak against corruption and attack that it must be decentralized. Bitcoin is that currency, and only time will tell if it survives its technical difficulties. |

In my opinion, the only way Bitcoin will disappear if governments ban bitcoin so you can't use it anymore.
Governments can only ban bitcoins used for illegal activities, they cannot ban bitcoin as a whole as even government don't have a control over bitcoins at a moment, so I don't bitcoin will disappear it will be more popular in future. That's correct, and I don't see that government will ever stand by bitcoins as they know if bitcoin gets on mainstream then they will loose all their control that they have on fiat at a moment, but bitcoins can never be idle or unused. There are many Government officials who are corrupt and they would never want bitcoins to get popular or become legal due to the reason you stated. I strongly believe bitcoins would never disappear but the number of users would reduce due to this. |

Most users here trade in bitcoins due to its price and if the price remains as it is today or it increases, bitcoins would be used irrespective of it being recognized or what price it has. So, never it will disappear or be unused.

In my point of view bitcoin is never going to disappear, if something like that was about to happen it would lose popularity at worst case scenario. it would become a relic of old ages and pioneer of cryptos. But i doubt anything like that happens because bitcoin has a lot of potential and still have a lot of room to grow and better itself. Worst case scenario it will be part of a museum  |

i dont think so. making bitcoin disappear is the same as making an entire currency disspear. too many people would lose too much money. and there would always be someone willing to buy it. |

It is improbable though there are slim chances that it will somehow disappear e.g. catastrophic disasters occurring on Earth that might erase most of its population and whatnot (nuclear wars, just like Fallout lol). But vanishing within a blink of an eye, I think it's not possible.

All that matters and at the end of the day, users here find that bitcoins are more influential in the market and hence they use it. It will never disappear unless the price falls to $1 which is never ever possible. |
