but i don't it will happen anytime soon.
I guess that will not happen, bitcoin is money in the digital world. the question is, who would not use the money in this world  everyone would be using the money, as well bitcoin will definitely be used continuously even thrive. bitcoin will disappear or not be used again when bitcoin be illegal for all countries I think bitcoins will not disappear soon and will be useful for a long time. Yeah, looking at the present growth of bitcoins, it is assumed that it will be a long term player and will survive for a longer period of time. I think so. As long as the bitcoin is developed continuous and adapt to the changing environment, it will prosper. |

Bitcoin is a work in progress. As long as there are people who are willing to support it, no matter what happens to it's price, it will never be unused. Also with the current stand of bitcoin as of today, I doubt that will ever happen well at least not any sooner. Bitcoin has not yet reached its full potential.

It will take several decades for bitcoin to reach it full potential. It is just 6 years old, still in very early stage. |

I don't think this will ever happen. For this to happen, a lot of people would have to stop using bitcoin, the market would need to drop, the demand would need to drop, traffic transactions would need to stop as well. That's when the value will drop. I doubt this will happen, seeing as to what bitcoin is worth today. At least I don't think it will happen any time.

It has to happen one day. Nothing in this world stands up forever, so BTC will be a victim of the failure sooner or later. I hope this won't happen while I am living though  It'll fall one day, and it'll probably happen as soon as everyone will invest their money in it. Because that's how things work most of the time... The worst comes exactly when you expect it the least. |

no I don't think so. I think bitcoin is growing smoothly and the popularity of bitcoin is increasing day by day. I think that bitcion is become more stable and people now started using bitcoin for shopping in their markets.

I really hope that in the future when technology is developing, many people will adopt bitcoin as their alternative payment option and bitcoin will grow into the most popular alternative payment option, replacing the other services. |

Revolution and adoption are natural thing as its happening since from B.C. And always human community accept it. Even in world new innovative innovations are always welcome for better human society integration.

Exactly bitcoin will be used more in future when it will reach everywhere, the popularity of bitcoin is limited at a moment but this will change very rapidly in coming years. |

No it is not right that bitcoin will disappear or will become unused or useless, so That is why I do not think like that, bitcoin has now a bigger market cap and they all want bitcoin to stay for longer, and as it is the master of crypto currency and with its destruction people wil also lose trust on all other coins also, so no one will want it to become useless, even the devs of other coins also.

you posted it in 2015 and now in 2016 bitcoin has grown stronger.I have sttong conviction that bitcoin is here to stay and will become mainstream in next 2 decades.i consider my self lucky to have chance to adopt bitcoin now |

Interesting question, and I saw some interesting answers. Majority have positive and optimistic comments, and I share same opinion. Chances are very low for btc to disappear or become unused, and fact is that bitcoin is stronger each year.
Bitcoin have future, and I'm sure in that. Technology is everywhere around us, and bitcoin is technology, sooner or later everyone will have wallets and some coins in it, we see more and more people joining each year.

In the near future I think bitcoin will not disappear, but nothing lasts forever in this world. Someday, not sure when, bitcoin will definitely be left behind. The new terms will be found and replaced the existing one for the sake of human civilization.

Bitcoin will only disappear if it gets replaced by new and innovative currency in future but I think it will take long time to happen that. |

But for now bitcoin is popular at this moment bitcoin is hard to knock down, and many people waiting for it to decrease more and want to buy cheap, we don't know what is the future of bitcoin or what will happen but as long as many investor believe bitcoin will not lost the value. |

You see this low adoption as a problem. On the other hand, I see it as having great potential. If BTC is worth $650 with only a small number of people using it, imaging what it would be worth when a majority of the planet uses it. |
