Thanks guys, all good replies.
I found the wiki on it, and have a bunch of pages open, and about to read.
Checking out walletbit and weusecoins link.
I took a quick look at bitpay, and it looks pretty costly.
It's either 1%, or they charge 4% for a deposit to bank account.
Little on the pricy side imo, especially for pricier items with lower profits.
Say you sell a $1000 item and make $100 profit, you're losing $40
from that $100 right off the bat. 4% Canada, 2.69% for US though. And
they charge daily, with a minimum of $20.
**** Walletbit is better at 2.69% and that includes deposit.
But with a $15 minimum fee. So if you're looking to transfer $1000, it's going
to cost $26.90, including deposit.
www.bitcoinpayflow.com seems free. I don't entirely understand how it works though.
I think I'd need a programmer to make it function properly.
http://bitcoinevolution.com is free as well. Don't know how secure these ones would be
though.
https://merchant.bitutils.com/charges .5% then deposits to mtgox or wherever you want.
So on $1000 you're looking at $30, $5+$25.
mtgox charges $25 per international wire transfer as well.
If I go with say a $3000 withdrawl...
Walletbit would be $80.70
bitutils would be $15 + $25 deposit fee so, $40. $13.33 per $1000.
(Sorry, just talking to myself in this thread!)
Which exchangers have cheapest transfer fees? More so to Canada. I'm guessing
bank fees are probably $20 minimum, so my guess would be $20 would be the cheapest.
