For me this is at the moment just a small consolidation. There was a heavy increase and now we see profit takers.
I'm pretty sure Ether will stay in front of Litecoin and we will defend the 2 Dollar price.
After this consolidation we will see further price increases and prices of 3 Dollar or more. I'm quite sure about this.

I agree because "Ethereum solves everything because it is scriptable". Thus it will take over everything. Simplistic logic is 80/20 efficient. Speculation markets focus on the slogan. Buy the dips!

It's still going up.

It's heading back up: just above 0.006 last I checked.

It seems we will battle it out at this level until some news occurs.

Either someone will dream up some grade A+. FUD and we go down, or Warren buffet tells everyone to buy ETH and we go up.

Wrong on this one FUD always makes a coin to rise. Atracts a lot of attention and when people just dig themselfs a little bit deeper in a project they will just see what is true from FUD

If Ethereum is really useful in the future and it can coexist with Bitcoin, then its price should be around 0.1 bitcoin.

Buy the dip! It is going to da moon. Everybody knows Bitcoin is broken not Ethereum. Ethereum can be programmed to do everything Bitcoin could and more because it has Turing complete scripting.

No reason to own Bitcoin any more. Dump all Bitcoin and buy Ethereum with both fists and hang on tight to the end.

Ethereum meanwhile only an interesting toy with the huge budget on advertizing, but no more. Other coins have a functionality specified by you.

The Doge pump has already over. But Ethereum price is also not rising. It needs some breathing before next rise.

It's staying at ~650k for a bit IMO. There's been a lot of downward pressure and it just wants to live there. Which suggests it will go up considerably over the next 2q with LTC on the heals of the BTC hardforks and halving.

I think the price is consolidating in the 650k range. It might prepare for the next push up. If so, it could go much higher.

There are only 2 ethereum faucets as far as I know. They really pay a little higher than other faucets if you make the conversion, but they are still faucets and not much worth the time in my opinion.

Hope to see more ETH faucets soon though.

The price has dropped to 600k. Is it the start of the new dump or just more consolidation?

It might be starting to trend because it already reached its peak. I could be wrong though on my observation.

ETH isn't the only one that's pulled back, it's just the biggest one. It looks like the "Chinese pump" is over for now.

That said, I think it's consolidation. The recent "pump" was too long & strong to be a usual P&D. Price-chart-wise, it looks like the start of a new altcoin bull market following in the wake of Bitcoin turning around. We're definitely past the stage when Bitcoin's rise induced some altcoineers to sell & move to Bitcoin. Now, some (I bet new) folks are looking around the altcoin space for some "Bitcoin-with-leverage" plays.

The recent price rose after long several months of consolidation. So the price rise is high and it might not just a pump and dump.
