Cash transfer seems to be popular lately. My Online banking isn't allowing international wire transfers at the moment so Mt Gox is out of the question, and I am too far from civilization to stop by the branch office.

If there is a reputable seller in the US that'd be great. I could get it out tomorrow. Only what is the safe way of sending cash through the mail - I've always heard this is dangerous as it could be intercepted by a dishonest post worker for instance?

I think if you put delivery confirmation on a small First Class padded envelope (any padded envelope with a First Class postage-paid label) and maybe add a piece of cardboard for some stiffness it should make it cross country in 2 postal days. I had my first cash in mail receipt do this, but no cardboard, just padded envelope.
