Download: http://www.darkgamex.ch/devcoin/Devcoin-WindowsBundle.zipMy GPG public key can be found in my signature. @Unthinkingbit: could you link to this post at your OP? Should be helpfull for beginners. To avoid issues finding the devcoin qt program program, posting a new thread here so everyone can find the devcoin wallet a bit easier. If your blocks stop downloading, add the latest .csv file to your folders and it should continue.

Hello all. I am using K1773R's devcoin client for Windows and have been using it without issue for a month or two now but the other day the blockchain download just stopped at block 71999.
I have tried re-launching the program with -rescan which didn't work, then I re-downloaded the Devcoin windows client files again and copied my wallet.dat and addr.dat files into a fresh install which caused the client to begin downloading the blockchain from the beginning again but it got stuck again when it reached block 71999 and now the program occasionally shows the wrong address in the "Your Bitcoin Address" box but corrects itself when I click "Address Book" and select the ONLY available receiving address (the correct address for my client) and click "ok".
Any ideas...?

I think killer will have to address that, not sure if this is a known issue? I just checked mine, same issue.

I had the same problem the other day. I asked about it in the main Devcoin thread and was pointed to this file: http://galaxies.mygamesonline.org/receiver_18.csv Download and put it with the rest of the receiver files.

I had the same problem the other day. I asked about it in the main Devcoin thread and was pointed to this file: http://galaxies.mygamesonline.org/receiver_18.csv Download and put it with the rest of the receiver files. Ok, I have two sets of receiver files. One in my main "AppData/Roaming/Devcoin" folder and the other set is in "AppData/Roaming/Devocin/receiver" I have added the file to both sets and relaunched, still no change. I then relaunched with "-rescan" still no change... Thank you for trying though, I appreciate it. I have also noticed that the "Your Bitcoin Adress" in the main window has a new address EVERY time I launch, but then corrects itself when I go to the address book, click my correct address and click ok.

I have found a couple other users in the BTC-e excahnge's chat with the same problem of their blockchain being stuck at 71999, but they are having the problem with the *nix version. It would seem to me that this is a problem with the devcoin client itself.

I copied the receiver 18 file to the AppData\Roaming\Devcoin and AppData\Roaming\Devcoin\Receiver files and after about an hour, it updated with the current blocks.

Ok, I copied over my wallet.dat and addr.dat to a new install of the devcoin client along with all new receiver files including #18 and the block chain has successfully re-downloaded and is current. Thank you all!!!

didnt knew this thread exists, watching now i dont maintain the source, i just create builds (and fix source according to Win* problems with compiling and libboost). please contact markm for such problems or post them here. EDIT: the problem with fetching was because a mirror went down (according to devcoin thread).

Sorry to revive an old thread. I have Win8 x64 and downed the Devcoin Windows Bundle. Unzipped everything in Program Files and ran once. The client does not make a connection. Subsequently, I quit again, placed the .conf file in AppData\Roaming\Devcoin folder with my own user/passwd details. Also, I downed the *18*.csv file and copies all these .csv files to the AppData\Roaming\Devcoin and AppData\Roaming\Devcoin\Receiver folder (the latter folder, I had to make manually).

I cannot get it working in Windows. Will use Vircurex address for now and set up a Linux VM later to get a GUI up.

After you downloaded all the files, did you put them into the appdata folder for devcoin and after you did that did you reopen it so it resynches?

I did exactly so, but the client does not show any connections, also not after a while.

I did exactly so, but the client does not show any connections, also not after a while. debug.log output, otherwise i cant help you! no connections usually means firewall restrictions. PS: added topic to watchlist, sry for late answer!
