This is just a fantasy of mine.

Since the split of ebay and paypal, buyers have been looking forward to more payment choices. I wonder if bitcoin is one of the considerations.

Amazon buyers with bitcoins have been using purse.io to get cheaper goods. I wonder how the implementation of bitcoin payment is going to impact the prices of bitcoins.

I agree that buyers are looking for more options as far as payment methods, but I do not think that they are going to put a payment method in place which will not protect the buyer.  Unless they are going to use some sort of escrow service, which I do not think to many sellers would be willing to use, they will not put Bitcoin into place.  This is just my opinion.

I'd love to be able to sell my bitcoin products on Amazon in bitcoins instead of dollars.

there's other way to pay with your bitcoin, simply use bitcoin debit card and checkout there if the card declined, just try paypal instead
but it'll be good if they'd accept bitcoin and im sure the checkout procedure will going become more simple

It will have a good impact if they actually do that , yes ... however we all know that this is not going to happen because it may cause problems like refunds etc ... and this is why there is OpenBazaar under development in the first place , So we all stop using Amazon and ebay & use our own decentralized store .

It would give bitcoin a significant boost in interest from the masses especially the people who always finds a way to shop with only minimal fees to think of. As a man who has a girl that always shops online, it is a great incentive to find a payment method that doesn't charge you high fees by just paying. I wonder if I can buy some pretty neat shoes in Amazon using bitcoins 2 years from now? Huh

I believe they already do. It's just these sites aren't still fans of bitcoin.

The thing I do not like about the way-around is that reloadable debit cards take lots of fees.

I wish Gyft will start offering Steam gift cards. I need to resort to 3rd party sites to obtain these for bitcoins which is inconvenient.

this is what i need, that would be magnificent if they accepted btc, mainly amazon.

im a regular customer of over 5k per month, so its gets kind of frustrating cashing btc into fiat, then fiat to paypal, id rather just pay directly with bitcoin.

I've been waiting patiently for open bazaar,  I just hope we get enough user Base with it, obviously eBay and Amazon have a long reach.

It might be a good idea. So we can buy cheap goods using bitcoin.
And I think it does not affect the price of bitcoin

Do u have to submit your ID when u make payment with bitcoins on gyft? My cousin was asked for her ID when tried to purchase items on gyft with credit card.

I would be more excited to receive bitcoin from auctions on ebay
or refunds on amazon. That excites me more than spending it.

Although it helps adoption to be able to spend it.

I still offer it on ebay with a %-discount if they pay me with bitcoin. But only 1 customer paid me with BTC @ pickup.

You don't. You can enter anything in the common fields found when registering at websites. Gyft is actually very good with Bitcoin (I've used it for a few hundred $ of gift cards).

I'm pretty sure that a lot of people have suggested both Amazon and Ebay to start accepting BTC, not sure about the gateways though.
