Wonderful idea, i would suggest increased the download button on the website, and i read that 2btc in a month are dedicated for this will it be split to users based on steps or 1 steps has a fixed "reward"

You earn based on your steps as a percentage of all steps by all users in that calendar month .
So one step is not fixed

However as more users join, the number if coins available also increases

These include actual steps walked and recorded by the device sensors, not manually entered steps which are not included in the earnings
