Downloaded a similar App in the past where we walk to earn "hours" and redeem free gifts from the organiser.
Besides walking, the App also allowed you to earn "hours" by attending events such as marathons, morning walks, health siminars etc. to promote active life-style. Way to go!

Yeah. Not everyone has an iPhone. You should have released a version for android as well. Also, what is the benefit for you? Everyone does something for a reason and I don't think you are just giving away free Bitcoin.

You earn based on your steps as a percentage of all steps by all users in that calendar month .
So one step is not fixed

However as more users join, the number if coins available also increases

If you don’t convert your steps to Bitcoins you will lose those steps for that day after midnight your local time. So that means you need to convert your steps before midnight everyday to increase your bitcoins.
This could be a problem because i expect my btc to be locked in my account, roll over or something. This is a good project though.

The earnings are based on number of steps you walk compared to number of steps everyone else walks. So In jan if people walk more steps than dec then your earnings will be less for same number of steps .

In Jan we already seeing about 35 million steps walked by all, much more than in Dec when app was launched

I see that earnings depend on the number of steps of each user and the total number of steps of all users.If my memory serves me it was a total of 2 BTC which is shared between users.With the increasing number of users I hope that the total monthly amount will be increased.But the impact on health is a big plus with this application

Yeah, people walk around 10k steps a day. Accroding to the system data, steps for everyone today reaches 300 millions today that means it need 30k people to do it. Definitely impossible.

Every month pay on a different date, last month at 3th, on may at 6th, on april at 10th, its a good app that pays you for your daily steps. I don't see any problem if they pay at different dates.

Also received this email about the end of this walking project. In the beginning of Burningman it was really worth to walk some extra because the payment was worth it. The last few weeks the payment became lower and lower sadly enough. I understand that they could not keep this project working this way, the rate of each step you walked was already zero at the moment.
