My cheapest coins were bought at 215 dollar, then i bought 4 bitcoins.
To bad i sold it when the price went to 300 dollar, since my profit would be quite nice.

I picked up quite a few for $30 when the price was at $400 or so. It was when a few bots went crazy on a thin order book. Picked up some dirt cheap Litecoin at that time too.
I started showing interest in BTC during the summer of 2013, then eventually bought my first coin during the November 2013 bubble.

Probably around $130 or so. This way back in April or May of 2013. Right after the April 2013 bubble.

1 cent only ! You are a real early adopter How much bitcoin did you buy this time ? I bought 100 BTC (the smallest amount possible). To give you a flavour of trading back then, here's the complete list of trades which took place on 12 July, 2010 on the exchange I was using: Rate Amount Time (USD/BTC) (BTC) ----------------------------- 08:28:10 0.0120 200 10:26:03 0.0120 100 11:21:43 0.0100 4300 11:48:46 0.0119 5000 13:01:49 0.0120 4700 13:10:19 0.0130 1000 13:37:45 0.0130 2500 13:44:11 0.0130 500 13:46:22 0.0135 100 15:34:46 0.0140 500 16:41:31 0.0135 400 16:43:46 0.0140 1000
That's great, Mr. Early Bird... Hat's off to you dude, if I were you, I would have been a millionaire right now in my country... I guess you too are... Thank you but I think the hat should stay on. I sold most of my bitcoins about 10 months later at around 8 USD/BTC. Buying is easy, holding for years is hard.

a few summers ago Bitcoin dropped to 50 and it was steady above 100. It was a random crash and people panic. I was able to pick up 5 at $60 each on MT gox lol. I was a little late to the party than most but still a good deal at 60.

I bought 'em at a discounted price from my seller for like $460 AUD when the price was $490+.
That was probably the cheapest and most profitable bitcoin buy for me.

That's freaking crazy, I wish I was around there back in the time. I had no idea that Bitcoin existed back then, it took me a couple of years later for destiny to present Bitcoin to me, oh well, im still earlier than like 90% of people out there.

I have bought them at around $100... I sold them after the 2013 crash from the peak $1300+ to $500. Still a 5x profit. Not bad IMO.

Those numbers are really interesting. Which exchange? This was just a few months after the 10,000 bitcoin pizza.
Indeed, about 7 weeks after laszlo's famous pizza trade with jercos. I was using bitcoinmarket.com at the time. There were other options for buying/selling such as OTC, NewLibertyReserve, and the forum, but bitcoinmarket.com was the closest thing to an exchange. I have more old trade data if your interested, going back to about April, 2010. Volume is relatively low but one can't miss the wild yet largely forgotten July, 2010 rally.

I bought them when it was coming down from the $1000+ crash... So around $500, thought it would go back up to $1000+ but never did(yet). Sold them at like $300... Bad deal
