Damn! One can only get a little disappointed that he was not around to spend a few k at pennies to stock up. That as good times for you early investors granted some would have been sold on the way up but would still have held a few thousand coins for the ath thats for sure.

The cheapest i managed to get mine for was around $220.

That is a legendary exchange that will never be forgotten. That was the first story I ever heard about bitcoin and it cemented it's foundation as it stands today as a currency with limitless possibilities venturing on to hope for a better economical future.
I bought mine for $175 per bitcoin. Can not remember the exact date but it was well over 2 years ago.

About a month ago hope, I bought five bitcoin at $300 each. It seems I have the worst of luck. Straight after I bought, bitcoin rose to $350, hovered, then started dropping. I acted emotionally, and sold 3 BTC asap, and straight after, bitcoin rose to where it is now. Dang.

How difficult was it to trade back then?

Signing up with bitcoinmarket.com required only a username, a password, and an e-mail address.  You could add bids and asks to a simple order book.  Matching offers were settled manually using Bitcoin escrow and PayPal.

Were there any 'big' trades of 10,000 or more?

I see some 10 000 BTC trades in the data I posted above.  I remember there being a few 10 000 BTC offers on the order book when I started.

20 dollars? I think that is a typo. I see a lot of people getting bitcoin for cheap price. Man I wish I had bought also around 200 dollars.
