First of all I highly suggest that before you invest in any alt coins make sure you do your own research. Surely, some are worth buying but many are not so always do your research and don't just rely on few reviews you read.

There's alot of scams out there but you could aim for NEO, ADA, EOS and ethereum, the first three are recent projects that are easy to get into, while ethereum is more established and seems like a secure option to invest in it.

There lots of altcoin now.
Some are good, scammed and got dumped.
So be careful on choosing altcoin. Because still you have a chance to got a good one but worst scenario there are still lot of shit coin. Be safe on picking.

Altcoin worth to buy now are the following:
1. Ethereum. Why? Because it has a good potential to grow again after a big down fall. Also it was the universal altcoin we use now.
2. Docademic. Why? Check that altcoin. From .017$ on first listing in the exchanges, now it as around .23$. 10x bigger than before. Lots of potential too.

I've been reading through this forums for the past few weeks and all I see is "this coin is dead" or "everything is a shit coin". Is there any alt coin with potential to invest in or is it only bitcoin? I don't mean like a few here and there, I mean over 100 coins.
Definitely yes. But they are less worth than bitcoin, don't get me wrong I mean is that their price is pretty lower than bitcoin that is why they are less worth or pretty much affordable. Well, as I see altcoins and bitcoin don't have any differences besides to their market price but the profit is the same they will only matter on how much hardwork or effort you lend just to have such profit. So, all in all altcoins are worth buying. |

It is a fact that there is a dead coin but still lot of potential altcoins are still on the market so you must better do your own research first before investing your money on a particular coin because some coins are just created to scam people.

What is stability? This is when a coin for a year costs $ 150, then $ 1200 and now $ 500? Ethereum - this is a coin for crypto contracts, but not for investment.
Ethereum may not be suitable for long term investing specifically because it has no hard cap in supply (meaning that it's virtually infinite by design), but it certainly is useful as the fuel needed to execute smart contracts on the blockchain. Since many tokens and dApps are available on the Ethereum blockchain, I think that the "Ether" cryptocurrency will always experience demand over time due to its utility. And once Ethereum upgrades to PoS, then it's price could get past the $1,000 goal. Therefore, I think that Ethereum is an altcoin which is worth buying today. There's a lot of potential for this cryptocurrency to grow into something huge in the future. And the more it grows in dApps and tokens, the better as it would become the most useful cryptocurrency in existence. In my eyes, I will always compare Ethereum to Bitcoin as it's active in development, strong, resilient, and popular in the cryptocurrency market.  |

they all have very good growth potential. It is worth investing in many coins from the top 100, not all of course, but many. Choose from the list you like and buy 10 different pieces, so as not to lose money in case a certain coin falls to the bottom, which happens quite rarely with coins from the top 100.
