The initial repayment was only 2.16BTC (for 2BTC loan).
What was once 2.16BTC repayment is now 3.63824867BTC because of late fees.

Seems high.. I don't blame you though.

I think you should stop charging him any interest and give him a minute to pay it back.

I'm willing to stop the late payments if he actually responds to my emails.

I've offered to stop the payments and work on a payment repayment scheme, but he is unwilling to actually do anything.
If he does reply it has only been "I request an extension" with no details how/when he will repay.

I'd be happy for 1BTC a week on the proviso that he sends 1BTC as part-payment.
As yet I've had zero payment, just excuses why he can't pay it back (I'm Muslim, Evil Spirits told me to take your money etc.) and acknowledgement that he lied to me to secure the loan.

You never replied to his emails. Work something out with him. He has agreed to stop charging interest if you agree to a payment plan of sorts.
