Hey there!

I want to introduce myself Wink

I am a german developer.. developing for Windows 7 / 8 and also Windows Phone 7 / 8

While I was looking for a Bitcoin Wallet App for Windows Phone I did not found anything.
So I started developing one by myself.
It's almost done and ready to launch.
Due to I am newbie in this Forum I will not spread that much information in the newbie forum.

Well.. here's a screenshot of the loginscreen.. going to post another update in 2 days, hopefully in the
project forum.

So here's my app:
http://fa-entertainment.com/serv/flo/bw_images/bitwallet_wp7_001.png

Information:
-You can check your current balance
-You can check latest transactions
-You can do a payment

Planned in near future (within the next 2 month)
-Add livetile with current balance
-Add pushnotifications for incoming transactions

i need your ideas please!
mail them to floler@fa-entertainment.com

While the app wont have any ads in it and wont cost a penny
I am going to collect some donations to effort the microsoft licensing.
Donations can start right now: 1HLChzN6QnvWXiXUNFLPWyiU2oUHFkaq95
Just a little amount can help to release the app faster.. the microsoft fee is 70$  :/

If you're interested in more information about me visit my website: http://fa-entertainment.com

Thanks allot! Updates will be there in 2 days Smiley

Spreading the love, I see.

I'm all for WP7/8 and Bitcoin development, so if you can show some sort of a functional demo, you can count on a donation from me. There are some rather robust Android offerings so far, but nothing WP7, as you've said. I've dreamed of a world with NFC-based Bitcoin transfers...

Just a small question:

Will this work like other "thin" clients (that is, like Electrum), or will the client be attached to an online account at, say, Blockinfo?

Good luck to ya', mate.

Hey; all's fair. I can't tell you how to make your application Grin

If you need some field-testing, I have a Focus that's dieing for something to do. I don't know much about side-loading applications on WP7, so unless I can get that figured out, I'll have to wait until this thing's in the marketplace. I'm also looking to get either an Ativ or Lumia 920 pretty soon (< 2 months), so WP8 isn't out of the window (no pun intended).

I am going to collect some donations to effort the microsoft licensing.

This is serving as a front-end for transacting against a blockchain.info/wallet account.   The app asks for the username ("alias", I'm assuming, since blockchain.info/wallet only has "identifier" or "alias") and password.

Will this client be open source?

I would have serious concern over providing my Blockchain.info/wallet credentials to an app that is not open source.

Because even the Blockchain for Android app itself is closed source, I will only use it with a Blockchain.info/wallet account that doesn't hold a significant balance.

Well, the ap says username because i did not know how to name the label yet while i did not want to use blockchains names for it. Actually i already changed it to alias.

The source wont be open source at any time BUT there will be the possibility to browse all surcefiles for those who want to check the app for backdoors or so Smiley

That might be a fair compromise.   If there was a trusted party who could review the code and provide the checksum for the distributed build that passes the security check then that would alleviate the concern sufficiently for some of us that would otherwise be hesitant to used a proprietary mobile wallet.
