Seems to be doing the same thing my bad s5 board did. It seemed normal after a power cycle but after a little while it would drop most/all the chips on a board, it never had any hashing speed. Did you try swapping to the other jack on the controller board?
EDIT: thats a first for me to see
I could try that. Is this the correct procedure?
- Turn off.
- Unplug the two cables that go from each board to the controller.
- Attach the two cables to the extra two slots on the controller board.
- Turn on.
?
before you do that just swap them the cables fully and do the 30 min test.
I want to see if the problem follows the cable.
My guess is the problem will not follow the cable. You will then be sure that both cables to the controller work.
Then do your idea keep the cables on the same hash boards and plug them into the other two controller jacks
If the problem occurs it is the one board and it is broken.
I would say mine with one board and consider sending the dead board to forum member sidehack.
I think he is making them into pods.
