Not sure about point of this thread since you referred Bitcoin to something not nice and yet you avatar says something about Bitcoin Foundation unless I'm missing something here. It's perfectly normal in this time of the year there would be lesser buyers than sellers therefor it puts the value in a down trend for a short time.

As previous poster said, post xmas is always a downtrend until everyone gets settled. Lots of people predicted this was going to happen due to cashing out etc. Come January we will be heading back up again.

I just can't believe you are saying this being a Bitcoin Foundation Member yourself, or is it just for show off???
This is pure manipulation and there's nothing new, so why are you panicking seeing this only???
We have witnessed $1.2k to $120, forgot??? Did BTC die during that time???

Exactly, bitcoin has succeeded exceptionally well to get to where it is now. A few years back you would never have imagined that it would reach the value its at now and remain relatively stable. A drop here and there is nothing . I dont know how you can call it a shitcoin, its THE coin.

There are enough buyers, see the orderbooks and you'll see what I am talking about. If you think this "shitcoin" is dying, then you are free to leave and never come back.

How do you call bitcoin as shitcoin when you are bitcoin foundation lifetime member?

There are many buyers around but maybe its not the right time to buy as people have spent a lot these days.

And will spend even more for the New Year Eve so this was expected a little bit, bitcoin will rise and don't call it like you did.

Why are you even posting if you're calling bitcoin a shitcoin?
I don't think it will stay at a low $400 for long, I believe it will go up as soon as 2016 starts.
I doubt that bitcoin will drop below $400.

As previous poster said, post xmas is always a downtrend until everyone gets settled. Lots of people predicted this was going to happen due to cashing out etc. Come January we will be heading back up again.

"Xmas is always a downturn" looks like one of these Bitcoin myths that people blindly spread around without regard for historic price data.

Here's what really happened in Christmas 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014. Some great rises, some sideways action, and not much in the way of post-Xmas downtrends.

tl;dr - I am not saying BTC/USD will necessarily go up. I am saying that the post-Xmas downtrend is a myth.

This space intentionally left blank.

They might be buying now since the value has been going up.
I wouldn't be surprised if bitcoin would be going up to $450 again today.

I'm sure the price will go up really soon since it's pretty cheap to buy for some people.
It's been rising since I got on today so we'll just have to wait and see.
