Here are mine: In 2016...- Bitcoin price will fall below $200
- New altchains will start taking over Cryptoland
- Bitfinex will likely go bankrupt
- Altcoins maket share will grow significantly
- Meanwhile Litecoin price will fall below $1
- And ETH price will touch (or will be close to) its pre-sale
- At least one Chinese exchange will be shut down
- First altcoin w/ market capitalization > 1M BTC

If everything remains the same, then it is safe to assume that Bitcoin will rise in price just as it did every year after its creation. So I envision the price to be around $500-600 or more by the end of next year. That is the safe prediction in my opinion, but with Bitcoin we all know anything goes.

I think BTC price will be over $ 2k at some point in 2016 and after the peak it will swing between $ 800 -1300.
Since BTC price will increase , it will also affect altcoin market in a positive way which altcoin price will also increase. At least we will see 1 LTC is over $ 20.

Median value of Bitcoin will slowly rise to roughly $600 in the final months, while spikes and pits in prices form oppertunities for traders to win and lose crypto/money. Meanwhile, the exchange Cryptsy will cease to exist but customers will be able to 'evacuate' the vast majority of their coins. On this forum, two signature campaigns will be banned due to ever increasing sig spam.

I don't really believe in all those altcoins, I never had a good experience with those so I would rather stay away from that section. However, I do believe that bitcoin will reach a new ATH next year. Bitcoin will continue to grow in value with it's ups and downs of course.
Nothing can grow without it going down first. So here's to a good profit making 2016.

I believe we will hit $500 in the first quarter and it will cause a rapid uptick.
i also think we have a shot to hit $1k but I do not think it will stay I think a bunch of people will jump out.

i think 2016 will be a very volatile year for bitcoin. more volatile than we are used to see from bitcoin. i also think there is a high chance for us to see a new ath.

2016 is going to be the year for bitcoin. It does not look so prosperous now but I think the price will rebound just not yet. There is not any gloom in the forecast for bitcoin in the news lately so you will need to keep your ear to the ground before the new year approaches.

We all need the optimism we can get. Since 2015 is the year of the blockchain, let's see if 2016 would be the year for bitcoin. New trading highs and even more greater adoption. Probably that Chinese people will use BTC to buy foreign exchange more.
Time will tell, I also would like to see the Chinese raking up record-volumes. |
