The prefixes shown here are useless. There's no pattern to indicate whether we're close or not  Grin

You're right. That's why I want to know the minimum distance between different prefixes.
Example: The minimum distance for the prefix "f6f543" is much lower than the minimum distance for the prefix "f6f5431".
And knowing these minimum distances, it is possible to eliminate many spaces where the private key for puzzle 71 will not be guaranteed.
By the way, just out of curiosity, where is PT from? Here Nazaré.

Es Nazareno? heheeh a minha mae e nazarena mas eu estou no centro em Torres Novas. Espero que consigas encontrar, no entanto nao consigo ver qualquer ligaçao entre os prefixos estao, com onde poderam estar Smiley

Is it Nazarene? hehehe my mother is from Nazaré but I'm in the center in Torres Novas. I hope you can find it, however I can't see any connection between the prefixes 'estao' and where they could be  Grin

Great. I also wish you good luck. My search for prefixes is solely to gather enough data to improve the code I've written. Having the information I need allows me to gradually eliminate different search areas. It's a little difficult to understand without knowing exactly what I'm doing and how I'm doing it, but I understand that there might be doubts about what I'm doing. To understand everything, you need to think outside the box and question everything.

1

(there is no concept of "distance" between hashes, they're either identical or different by at least one bit, and the difference doesn't say anything about the inputs).

Part of what you're saying is correct, and part of it is wrong. To know for sure, you need to spend a lot of time collecting and analyzing data. Listen to some misunderstandings here, and I'll explain: My search for prefixes is in Hash-160 keys, and it's a sequential search of private keys. If you do the search this way and collect the data as I do, when you analyze the data you will see that there is a minimum interval between prefixes. For example: With 6 prefixes, the minimum interval of private keys is 5000 keys, but with 7 prefixes, the interval is much, much higher. As I said, it's necessary to think outside the box and question everything.

I've got Alberto's old Keyhunt and I'm modifying the randomization to be as efficient as possible. But I confess it hasn't been easy, considering I believe that CPU alone is enough to solve the rest of the puzzle without using any GPU Smiley Good luck!

To know for sure, you need to spend a lot of time collecting and analyzing data. As I said, it's necessary to think outside the box and question everything.

You'll get the exact same results if you analyze randomly generated data, instead of H160-ing sequential public keys.

That alone, should ring some bells for sanity check. If it doesn't, that's OK, you'll find a lot of friends here.

He didn't give it to us. Since you don't know, I'll explain. When there's a transfer, the decompressed public key is revealed. Simple as that.

B and B9 exist anywhere, but the key of tge puzzle do not contain 3 identical on consecutive positions of letters or numbers.

If you find a B9j stop to search there. You will never find a B9j or more in a 44 bits. Is only 1 in a space of 44. Probability of 95%.

Divide the key in group of 2.

He didn't give it to us. Since you don't know, I'll explain. When there's a transfer, the decompressed public key is revealed. Simple as that.
