@eggsylacer as i was saying to others, are you a PHD, double PHD or nobel prize winner?
That's the problem, here o forum who is arguing have no ideea about the crypto domain...you follow like sheeps the software built of others, use AI and you think that all the things AI is giving you is perfect...
30 years ago you had no chance to go in a domain similar to this one, and now using AI in 2-3 minutes you think you are GOD...
If anyone is smart enough, built your own algorithm, own softwares and don't give advices to others if you cannot prove your real world identity or what study, academic or Nobel Prize....
Give it a break...this forum is letting anyone who can use AI thinking and comporting like Einstein....
If you cannot prove that, or invest  at least 1.000.000Euro in research, you are just a child with a laptop that use AI and think he is a hacker....
Also using multiple accounts from fake email addresses....

This is reality...

no phd, no prize, so i will not pretend to either. credentials do not do arithmetic, the machine does, and the machine is open for anyone to run.

you asked what qualifies someone to give advice. here is mine. i build my tools myself, from nothing, no libraries. every number in this page is held as an exact fraction, no floats, so the arithmetic cannot drift the way conventional code drifts. 0.1 + 0.2 is not 0.30000000000000004 here. when a decimal repeats, the page tells you the repeat instead of hiding it, and the whole calculation can be walked backwards and forwards step by step, because nothing is erased.

conventional maths throws the tail away and spends its life correcting the damage. this keeps the tail in a ledger and closes to zero. that is the comparison, tested with controls that refuse wrong data.

behind it a small physics engine runs, 13 spheres in the natural shell, waves, a firing threshold, three accounts that always balance. conservation holds to zero drift over 8000 frames, and the batteries that test all of this refuse to run if a planted control fails.

i am not claiming it finds keys faster, it does not (yet). i am saying every serious solver eventually comes back to arithmetic, and this is arithmetic that does not lie. that is how the science gets done, not with degrees.

just about to start up my own node to start listening in

As a reminder Gx of secp256k1 is also a valid point on secQ256k1, maybe it would be better for the author to use that curve and generate Qs of puzzle exposed Qs and somehow share them. Let's try breaking the ECC before the machines do it for us.
Gx     = 53718550993811904772965658690407829053653678808745171666022356150019200052646

the same x point of N/2 in secp256k1 and secq256k1
N/2,x = 86918276961810349294276103416548851884759982251107

how many you found the same x point on both curve?
Hi, actually I didn't go that deep to check how many x points are identical on both curves in any given range, what is interesting for me is the fact that x=0x1 on secq *2 shares a lot of similarities. To know what I'm talking about, set Gx=0x1 on secq and double it. Then place both curves G*2 x coordinates one on top of the other.

Though I know this is just the magic of modular function because N and P are (were) uniquely chosen based on ECC mathematics.
One other thing, many of secp points are invalid on secq and vice versa. Maybe there is a secret relation between those that are valid on both curves.

eleven years and nobody has ever signed from a key that touched the creation funding. that is the whole state of identity on this thread.

everyone treats saatoshi_rising post 248 as the creator's word. april 27 2017. read it again. it is a prediction, not a signature. and the prediction was doable from public chain data.

april 7 2017, 84 btc consolidated into 14axvQP57cHGdUTK7xtoGk5CcTefk7fqpY.
april 27 2017, 04:29 utc, 83.531 btc landed in 1CENDvi6tmKGrR8RxqwURpX9WHbbKip1db.
the post went up 06:41 utc, two hours twelve minutes later.

anyone watching the funder tree could see the money gathering and do the 10x maths themselves. 11.605 btc sat on 51 to 160, 20.016 on 161 to 256, plus the 83.5 visible on chain. that lands on 9.92. round to 10. the plan itself was sabbybibi's suggestion from march, the post quotes it.

so the honest state. zero proof. evidence, yes. proof, no. a watcher could have written that post from the chain alone, and the chain was public before the words.

the test that settles it, for anyone who claims the crown. sign from any key that funded the creation tx, or from the top-up wallets above, or move dust from the original 2015 inputs. sign something like "i created the Bitcoin Puzzle, topic 1306983". nothing else counts. stories, predictions, theories, none of it touches a key. the chain is the only identity that exists.

one more wallet only the maker could own. january 14 2015, one day before the tree existed, wallet 1LTGoyGwNvjbjXL1wE8AmGJAKghEPgqwYm funded the p2 twin and swept it in one block. a signature from that wallet works too

I’m really glad that there are people like Detechs who are trying to find alternative ways to solve puzzles. Relying purely on brute force isn’t quite the right approach—it gets harder with every new puzzle. However, for some reason, many in this community criticize those who share alternative solving methods. At the end of the day, anything that involves numbers can be reduced to mathematics or some kind of formula. It’s just that we haven’t found it for these puzzles yet.

im creating a btc mining pool / puzzle pool integrated with a node/relay, on blockchain so no trust issues. Fair splits. currently it can mine, brute force unsolved puzzles, kangaroo like herd scan with pubkeys and also vanity search all at same time. and it runs of my new analog to digital calculator with my novel maths formulas and constants. So far all test pass compared to the original kangaroo and other tools and it can even detect cosmic interferance and unexpected bit flips with my new detection method

In the course of experiments, I even created my own kangoon gpu and kangoon cpu C11 invariants and Cobol as well as a calculator for operating numbers, up to 16k values container size. Working is 4k for a single number.

I'm still waiting for the global economy to collapse! When??  Undecided

I had the exact same though but never shared it here because it would raise another unfathomable amount of BS comments. Just to say that… I agree with the theory.

I solved 67 and 68 using custom software distributing the load across ~25k GPUs. 4090 stocks speeds : ~8.1Bkeys/sec. Don’t challenge me technically if you know shit about fuck, I’ll ignore you. Same goes if all you can do is LLM reply.

Bitcoin Puzzle research dossier — report, transaction ledger, and supporting evidence

I've put together and compiled a research dossier on the Bitcoin Puzzle, bringing the funding history, prize withdrawals, downstream transfers, and relevant forum records into one place.

The files are now publicly available on Internet Archive:

Read the report and access the complete collection

The dossier includes:
  • A 69-page report with linked sources and transaction references.
  • A 16-sheet Excel evidence ledger containing addresses, transaction IDs, output indexes, amounts, timestamps, and spending information.
  • A supporting evidence archive with blockchain records, historical source captures, checksums, and an offline verification script.
The documented coverage includes 256 original puzzle addresses, 450 identified reward-distribution outputs, and 579 distinct transactions.

Among the findings examined are the contemporary replacement evidence for puzzle 66, the different reported outcome of puzzle 67, two confirmed downstream consolidations involving funds from puzzles 67 and 68, and the later consolidation of payouts from puzzles 120, 125, and 130. The report also follows transfers to publicly labeled service addresses and documents unspent payout outputs.

The creator-attribution question is covered too, including the saatoshi_rising claim, sabbybibi's proposal, and the funding chronology.

Confirmed transaction facts, third-party address labels, forum claims, and interpretations are distinguished throughout. The report documents the scope of the investigation and the questions that remain unresolved.

I put this dossier together to make the history of the puzzle easier to verify: where the funding came from, where the rewards went, and which claims are supported by evidence. Years of discussion and transaction records have left that history scattered across many different sources. My goal is to preserve the relevant material in one accessible place, help others examine the connections, and provide a documented starting point for investigating the questions that remain open. Any irregularities should be assessed on evidence, with the same care given to findings that support or challenge existing suspicions.

Read online:
Read the report online (PDF)

Direct downloads:

Supporting evidence archive — ZIP

This is version 1.0, with evidence checked on September 10, 2026. Transaction timestamps are reported in UTC.

If you spot an error or have additional evidence, please include the exact transaction ID, output index, or original post link. Corrections and well-supported additions are welcome.

xor of its hash160 with puzzle 71's is exactly 2^80, one bit flipped at position 80

so the addresses actually sharing the full 4 byte f6f5431d prefix: 7 of the above.
the 3 that do not share it: the dust sender, and the two distribution receivers.

I think this is probably my last post about the puzzle hunt, at least for now.

I have spent a lot of time on this. Tried different things, different ideas, different ways of searching, and pushed the hardware I have as much as I could.

Sometimes I got lucky and had some success, and honestly those moments were enough to make me keep going. Every time I thought maybe the next attempt would be different.

But the reality is that I’m working with very low-end hardware. I don’t have the bigger hardware or the resources needed to search at the scale this requires. I tried to make the most of what I had, but there is only so far I can go with my current setup.

For a serious search of #71, a substantial amount of storage is required — around 20 TB at a minimum, along with much more capable hardware. That is simply beyond what I currently have.

I never moved on to the bigger puzzles. I knew my setup wasn't suitable for that level of search, so I decided to focus on this one.

It's a little painful to stop after spending so much time on it. Once you get into these puzzles, it's hard to just walk away. You keep thinking about them even when you're not searching.

But I think it's time for me to accept that I have to stop for now.

Maybe I'll come back someday. If I can get the hardware, storage, and proper setup I need, I'll return and continue the search.

Until then, thank you to everyone who shared ideas, helped, discussed things, or simply kept the hunt interesting. I learned a lot along the way, even from all the attempts that went nowhere.

Good luck to everyone still searching.

I really hope someone gets the breakthrough.

For me, this is goodbye for now.

Take care everyone. 🖤

I don’t think raw computing power is the only thing that matters when it comes to solving puzzles like #71, without a revealed public key, or #140, with a known public key. At least, that’s how I see it.

To me, the real breakthrough would be a provably better algorithm achieving total computational work of o(√B) for the known-public-key interval problem, where B is the interval size, or o(√n) for the unrestricted discrete logarithm problem, where n is the group order. The case without a public key is a different problem because the same square-root benchmark doesn’t directly apply. Those would be research breakthroughs requiring rigorous proof, not solutions we can simply assume exist.

Buying more computing power mostly comes down to having the budget, and it isn’t necessarily the most cost-effective approach. There’s no magic shortcut we can take for granted at this point.

Either way, good luck and take care! As we say, the important thing is to take part!

lots of people has superpower GPUs and enormous storage and marvellous ideas and different ways of scan and still didn't do it !!! just keep  searching and try your luck , we are in a luck race not a formula one dude, thousands of people using their low end hardware like you, but there's a big chance for the prize to go to one of them .

🚨🚨 EMERGENCY WARNING FOR BITCOIN PUZZLE #71 HUNTERS 🚨🚨

⚠️ I think anyone involved in Bitcoin Puzzle #71 should be extremely careful with krackpot.io.

Gridinsoft has recently analyzed the website and currently classifies it as:

🚨 MALWARE DISTRIBUTOR
⚠️ TRUST SCORE: 1/100

🔗 Report:
https://gridinsoft.com/online-virus-scanner/url/krackpot-io

According to the report, krackpot.io is advertising itself as:

 “Krackpot: crack Bitcoin Puzzle 71 for 6 BTC”

The site apparently allows users to point their GPU at Bitcoin Puzzle #71 through their browser.

🚩 Some of the warning signals reported by Gridinsoft include:

* ⚠️ Domain is only around 2 months old
* 🚩 Cryptocurrency-related risk indicators
* 🚩 Software/crack-related content indicators
* ⚠️ Low third-party reputation
* ⚠️ Limited independent reputation/history
* 🚩 Suspicious or unclear social-media links
* 🚨 1 external security-provider warning
* 🚨 Gridinsoft currently gives the domain only 1/100 trust

The domain was reportedly registered on July 7, 2026.

⚠️ IMPORTANT: I am NOT saying this proves that the owners are intentionally distributing malware. Gridinsoft itself says its classification is based largely on automated analysis, and automated systems can sometimes produce false positives.

However, considering that Bitcoin Puzzle #71 attracts people running GPU software, downloading tools, entering wallet information, and working with private keys, I think this deserves serious attention.

🚨 DO NOT:

* ❌ Download or execute unknown software from the site
* ❌ Enter private keys
* ❌ Enter seed phrases
* ❌ Connect wallets containing funds
* ❌ Give browser extensions or software unnecessary permissions
* ❌ Disable antivirus/security protections just to make something run

🔐 Until someone from the community independently audits exactly what the website is doing, I would treat it as **HIGH RISK**.

If anybody here has:

* 🔍 Inspected the site's JavaScript
* 🔍 Analyzed its browser GPU/WebGPU code
* 🔍 Captured its network requests
* 🔍 Downloaded and reverse-engineered any files it provides
* 🔍 Actually used the service

please post your findings.

It would be useful to determine whether this is:

⚠️ A genuine security problem
⚠️ A false positive caused by the site's Bitcoin/cracking terminology
⚠️ Or something else entirely

🚨🚨 **PUZZLE #71 HUNTERS — BE CAREFUL.** 🚨🚨

🔐 Never expose your private keys, wallet seeds, or systems holding BTC just because a website promises additional GPU search power.

⚠️ **VERIFY FIRST. TRUST LATER.** ⚠️
