Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

how do you know that it's his address? did he sign a message? though even if he did that alone shouldn't be a good enough reason for you to send him btc...

not to mention that he shouldn't need 0.2btc when hehave 35 times that.

what would be the point of giving someone else's address if the scammer won't be able to access coins the victim sent to that address?

just a stupid prank?

The address has had over 930BTC go through it.

I would say you have deposited your coins in to his gambling account.

Can anyone Trace ip address of this user ?

1. Did you really believe the Amazon code once you received it? The first beginnings digits are 123456789.  Huh
2. Newb, IP wouldn't matter, VPN and Tor make identifying the location of an individual near 99% impossible.
3. You should of read the rules, went to a escrow and not made a foolish mistake since this individuals was previously trying to exchange collateral that wouldn't be accepted by anyone.
