2012 Halvening
At halving, the price for a bitcoin was approximately $12.25, which meant that miners received approximately $612.50 per sealed block. By February 2013, the price had actually increased to approximately $30. Miners had lost half of their bitcoin subsidy, but the price had increased enough to more than offset this. By April 2013, the price had increased to approximately $181.
$180 / 12 = 15
5 months after the first halvening the price rose 15x from $12 to $180.
With the expected 2nd halvening taking place on July 9th 2016, 5 months would put us squarely into the last few weeks of the year.
Even with a VERY conservative estimate of a 2x - 3x gain, this would put us somewhere in the ball park of:
$1400 - $2100 range by January 1st 2017
Thoughts?
It might be i go forbthat rise if that happen like that it went 6x time the price was in our case 600 x 6 3600 I think the $2000 price is possible after the big mass adoption. The market cap now is too large for the big price rise. |

what is your prediction for the price at the end of 2016?
While I think the price could swing all over the place, I predict a price of $750 on January 1, 2017.
it is actually hard to predict price like that as 5 month is a lot of time and price can change many times, but i think price will be 830$, not less, but probably even more as price after halving will rise for sure, so i can predict that price in 5 months will be from 830$ to 1000$, just i don't think that it will be larger than 1000$ actually |

it is actually hard to predict price like that as 5 month is a lot of time and price can change many times, but i think price will be 830$, not less, but probably even more as price after halving will rise for sure, so i can predict that price in 5 months will be from 830$ to 1000$, just i don't think that it will be larger than 1000$ actually yes i guess if prices remain in the range of $ 800- $ 1,000 it was very nice to attract investor come, so in the future when the next halving the prices are not easily collapse to a point lower than $ 1,000. |

I predict the price will be around the 1500 dollar next year. Bitcoin's price has already almost doubled in the last three months, putting it on track for its best quarter in two years. The price could increase by as much as two times in the time up to the reward halving. |

Them more price the better will be best to say that price will go over 1000 that is for sure and dont think that something will change that i would be surprised to see price over 2000

I am not sure what the price is going to be like in the beginning of 2017 because I cannot look in the future, all I can do is speculate a bit about the price.
The price has to be somewhere close to $1000 because we have been waiting a long time for that to happen again.

I will say $900. I expect the price to rise higher through 2016,with halving also coming it may go pass $1000 but till 1 Jan it should hold a steady price of about $900-$1000 according to me

$ 750 USD is a good guess, from what I can tell the price has been $ 650 a few times over the last 3 years. Halving, the Brexit and the US Presidential Elections will keep the price bouncing along, but over-all $ 750 at the start of 2017 and close to $ 900 USD at the end of 2017. |

If my calculation is correct, it will be around $925 by Christmas 2016. So, extrapolating it to January 1 2017, I predict will be around 850. Jan'2017 will see another blood bath.

The $850 is still about $200 higher than the present price. So it is not a blood bath. And drop from $950 is small. |

After seeing the last 6 months results of predictions i will say that it is much hard to predict the price of bitcoin, by the it is the fact that if bitcoin got bigger supports and the adoption rate increased then the price of it will definitely increase to higher value.
