If you think you may be on a fork, do getcheckpoint in debug console window. It should return a VERY RECENT block. If it does not, you are on a fork

20:13:03 getcheckpoint

20:13:04
{
"synccheckpoint" : "000000005cbdd2703aab544745369c043eb7b80052ccfd62ac5be9b67b6da32c",
"height" : 16346,
"timestamp" : "2016-01-02 02:11:27 UTC"
}

Will update every few blocks, but make sure it is a very recent block number (height) and timestamp
I was on a chain with 14k blocks. Now chain would not sync from 0. Which node is 100% legit?

addnode=70.92.184.203 is a solid seednode

Is 15653 recent enough at this point?

Can you post a new bootstrap please? After loading the posted bootstrap getcheckpoint remains at 13903 even if it syncs to whatever chain it finds.

I don't know, maybe right away if needs liquidity, maybe later on if it does alright. Maybe never at all and I'll just use it to inflate the market cap..

LoL it is almost more difficult to get a block at a difficulty of 1 than at a high difficulty. Sounds like a paradox.

You're telling me, I didn't get too many mining yet. I only have the old ass 335 MHS USB miners without stratum though lol.. Are you synced up now?

1. Wipe everything in your COINZ folder except wallet.dat and COINZ.conf
2. Remove all addnodes in COINZ.conf except 70.92.184.203
3. Download the latest wallet and bootstrap files posted by Spots a few posts back
4. UnRAR the bootstrap files and put the two files (blkindex.dat and blk0001.dat) in the folder where your wallet.dat is
5. Run the wallet. It will jump to the last block in the bootstrap and will sync with the nodes from there.

I see CIONZ being the new FLY.

Get ready for daily updates with sick features.   Grin

I am having issues staying synced.  Keep having to restart.

Need more checkpoints or more reliable nodes.
