For those who are still unable to understand perspective and why only the top part of say a ship going over the horizon is still visible the answer is not magic. The distance to the vanishing point is in part a function of elevation of the eye/camera and/or the object being viewed; the greater the elevation the father the vanishing point becomes hence only the top of the ship is visible as it passes this point.

So, what´s the gain from this huge cover-up? What´s the purpose? It´s clearly a staggering undertaking for centuries, the costs must be astronomical. Cui Bono?

It's as I said above. Government and the banks don't care about whether the earth is flat, or whether it is round. All they care about is that enough people believe something enough so that they borrow money from the banks to prove it... even if they have to become a minority group and borrow through the government.

Government and the banks need Ponzi money to keep on being borrowed. If it isn't, or if income taxes are not paid, the banking system and the government system goes down.

The Ponzi money system WILL go down, of course. And a lot of people will get hurt. Bitcoin will bring salvation for a while, until the blockchain gets so bloated that government will be the only one that can maintain it in all its entirety.
