I read that it might have relation with activity number, what's the minimum required to be able to post photos?

Because you are not a Jr. Member or a Copper Member. You may wait for your activity to reach 30 so that you become a jr. member or pay a small fee to become a copper member and be able to post the images.

You must read the sticky threads or just google before asking the questions that have already been answered millions of times.
To add an avatar you must atleast be a Full Member.

sometimes it doesn't work when you copy link on imgur, you have to right click copy image address so it ends in .jpg for it to work in my experience

It's not stuck. You just don't understand how activity works. You can only get 14 activity every two week period.
