Upload to http://imgur.com/Then click on [img]https://bitcointalk.org/Themes/custom1/images/bbc/img.gif[/img] and copy/paste your image link between the two [img] tag. dropbox is even simpler I suggest you to put the image on center, it's much better. just add the "center code". the code should be like this: Code: [center][img]your image Url[/img][/center]

This is because you are a Newbie member. You must be a Jr. Member (Achieved at 30 Activity) to post a picture in a thread.

I was also curious about not being able to post images. Need to wait for the 'jr member' status.
Actually you can pay to be a copper member and if that will happen you don't need to wait to be a junior member. OP thanks for the tutorial because honestly uploading photo here and it really frustrates me every time. This will be a big help for everyone. Image Test # 157 Is it working? Yup, nice one.

How do you upload a photo on bitcointalk.org? ok in order to post an image you can go to google image and search for a photo than when you find what you want just right click on it and chose copy image adressthen come to your post and in the style menu ( the upper bare ) you will see a little emoticon of an image ( insert image ) just click on it and you will see something like [img ][ /img] and just past your link in between like that [im.g]https://ae01.alicdn.com/kf/HTB1qe.6dxSYBuNjSspjq6x73VXaR/Bitcoin-Pi-ce-D-or-Ruban-Plaqu-Collection-BTC-Pi-ces-Art-Collection-Cadeau-Nouveau-Drop.jpg_640x640.jpg[/i.mg] and the result is as shown above

for others who were confused like me lol. this thread is about posting photo to forum, like in conversation. but if you are searching for photo for avatar then click here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1689727.0Why can't I change my avatar? Only Full Members and up are allowed to wear avatars. It must be no more than 120px wide, 80px tall, and 100 KiB in size. It must be a PNG, GIF, or JPEG image. It must be safe for work. For more information why this restriction exists, please checkout About the recent attack and Avatars re-enabled

Hello,
I am trying to insert image between [img] tag, but when I am previewing it, It shows only image url rather than image, kindly help/guide me.
Thank you in advance.
You need to be a junior member to be able to post images. This is what I am facing now Not trying to be a troll but doesn't all this uploader seem kind of archaic? If this is a HUGE site then why can't they just have an ordinary dime a dozen uploader? I think there are even free scripts available. I'm not even a techie and even I know that.
