Mine is up and working.  First impression is it is quiet. Smiley

Thanks to everyone who put this together.

how are you powering it ?

note the volts read about..    .2  volts lower then the psu you use. that = normal.

this gear is very voltage driven.

 11.8 = 3000gh
 12.2 = 3400gh
 12.6 = 3800gh

Don't forget Yan from blockC  did a very nice job packaging and shipping.

here is top end clock using the dual 2000/4000 boards from finsky/j4bberwock

must use 240 voltss with this psu. but the avalon6 gets close to 3950gh
and two get close to 7900gh

note input is set to 12.73 volts internal voltage drops to 12.3-12.5 or so

Thanks again Phil, Kano and Yan for making this GB happen....I received mine today and have it hashing away over at Kano's pool ramping up my 5ND...

Now if I can just figure out how to upgrade this Ras Pi IMG. Did we receive Ras Pi or Ras Pi 2?

The older model rasp pi uses the bigger sd card.
Everyone was that model.

You should use a quality sdCard 4gb or 8gb and at the moment I do not have the link and I am on an iPad.

That is not my main pc.

They are some links for it on this forum.

Good.  Ups to Canada 2 days decent speed.

Remember to pull the yellow plastic parts bag out of the box carefully.

More good news the four pieces to sidehack have arrived.

So only ppoc does not have his.

I am hosting his three until Monday the 25th.

So far all gear seems to be okay. Except for

1 four pin cable Yan sent extra
1 blue adapter I had one from my Avalon 4.1 setups

Lastly 1 rasp pi could have an issue.

Of course all three parts are in my hands as passing problems on is not what I do.

In running eight in my garage heat got high 90 f or so.
This may have caused my 1 flakey rasp pi.

I have a fan pointed at it along with all the other rasp pi's
So as a heads up
Watch the heat on the rasp pi's
Note the have a grill for passive cooling soo make sure the grill does not get covered.
This was the case with the one rasp pi that did have a few issues. I had it's grill covered since I  flipped it and have a fan moving at it zero issues.

yes I thought I did well, but Yan  of block_C really did a good job getting the 10 to me safely  and really well packed.

I did a little extra packing for yours and Valkir basically so that it would get thorough customs and also since it was 2 pieces to keep it safe from smashing.

Simple go to the settings page set your pools

Freq is 500

Fan is 20

Drop freq to 480

Keep fan at 20

Run for a few hours

Compare to your freq 500 numbers

Drop slow but sure to 460 -20
440-20
420-20
 400-20

Then you can decide what is best.

Doing 3.26 TH after 6 hours. I just a bit under the -+ 5%.

I blame my Seasonic 1250w. I see 11.8-11.9 Volt.

well  I have had that issue with the seasonics.

but my dual 2000/4000 240 volt

with 3 volt settings

11.8

12.1

12.6

has just burnt a board at the 12.6 setting.

I did not see magic smoke but I smelt it.

You can see that the temps read 33 31 75   the 31 should be a 73 or 75

So  do not go to 12.6 volts

http://www.blockc.co/collections/bitcoin-miners-shop-avalon-blockc-co/products/avalon6-bitcoin-miner

note this page link above  price is 10 for 11900  and  volts are now at 11.8 to 12.2   so they had 2 different numbers for safe volts

https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Avalon6

2015-11-24
Version 601511-f4f59c70
Update Core test check rules
Update Input voltage check rules (Input voltage should not >= 12.8V)  >   I was under this number 12.73
Fix result when run test scripts
