So far there doesn't seem to be much effect on the Bitcoin price. Here in Europe where I live, black friday is quite calm, not much action here as we are more interested in the Christmas time. That's when the people here go nuts on buying stuff.

Black Friday is more about the Thanksgiving Day is being celebrated in the US. This event is more Celebrated and observed in the US than Christmas season. Is there a Thanksgiving Day as well celebrated in Europe at same date?
There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Black friday is long over and the bitcoin price is still stable. I don't think we will see a dump after this.

Merchants dump right away, they don't wait.  Hopefully they didn't dump.  Price is up 2% from Friday.

this does not matter much as long as there is a constant demand and the for every new buyers the demand increase by few point percentage

also no one said that the merchants will dump at market price, they can sell at a slightly higher market price to take a good profit out of it if they are intelligent enough

this in the long term will increase the value

Surprise surprise, there was no big pump n sump from bitcoin black Friday.

Volume was just way too low to make a significant impact.

As far as I know, I don't think so. Black friday here in Europe is just a day for sales, they kinda copied that from the US. But there's not special holiday around this time.

May be bitcoin spent during black friday wasn't enough to cause the merchant dump to have much impact on the price.

Ofcourse it wasn't enough. Look at the daily volumes, do you really think so many was spent shopping using bitcoins?

Speculators were very wrong this time.

The Black Friday is just in America. The bitcoin transaction happens mainly in China. So the BF effect is very small.

Yeah, Black Friday seems to be catching on in Britain - a few years ago it was usually marked by news reports about "those wacky Americans", now it's a chance to grab bargains on amazon.co.uk etc. I think there may even have been fatalities (or at least injuries...) at a British shopping mall.

This space intentionally left blank.

The event doesn't necessarily indicate any effect on Bitcoins, as it is just limited to a single country, and BTC is possessed by many users from different countries, mainly from China...
Even if people from USA start selling their BTC just to buy something, that won't affect the price much...
Come on guys, we are in 2016 and we are still talking "dumps"Huh
Why not anyone see the stability of BTC???
