Anyone on here know someone who will sell me $100 bitcoin, payment by credit card or paypal? *guy who offered to sell me suddenly went quiet! Hm... Try to go to currency exchange right here, you might find the guy whose interested in your offer https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=53.0Else, try to buy from virwox.com If im not wrong you can buy coins with Paypal at Virwox

The thing is with $100 you cannot buy 1 bitcoin... the price for a full bitcoin is already much higher than that... Check the price at www.preev.com. You can buy smaller "pieces" of a bitcoin, as previous posters have pointed out. {Hope that makes sense.. I am just trying to keep it simple to understand} So you might be buying a fraction of a bitcoin for $100. Hope this advice is helpful to you.

I think it would be best for you to try and use a exchange like coinbase. You should be able to buy whatever the seller is selling. Some have a a lower amount they are willing to sell

Sounds like you really need to devote a few hours of diligent research on here. What you're writing is shouting that you're opening yourself up to potential problems that could be easily avoided with a bit more knowledge. This forum and plenty of other places in Bitcoinland are havens of scamminess and dishonesty. Keep your wits about you.

Deposit money in your localbitcoins account using either bank deposit or credit card transfer.
Is this possible? I've been using localbitcoins for a few years now, and I have never seen the ability to deposit US$. My localbitcoins.com wallet only holds bitcoin.

Ive never heard of this either, If its possible id quite like to do it since it would speed up the whole process and probably make it a bit easier too since its a pain to have to go into bank transfers anytime i want to buy some btc.

Anyone on here know someone who will sell me $100 bitcoin, payment by credit card or paypal? Both are reversible(please no crappy "I'll send as gift as it can't be reversed" excuses, I've seen enough scams to know they can be reversed.) If you can offer any other method of payment(irreversible), you'll get many sellers around here. reversed payment by definition! I have see that a lot of auctions on ebay are fullfilled with chargeback. it's a shame, for the seller, for paypal and for ebay

I second this advise. But take a few weeks/months of diligent research. Make that online payment with your credit card/paypal this time. You will likely loose any bitcoin somewhere in the process. Get a wallet, earn a few satoshi in a faucet to start. Or, are you trying to scam us?

If you can offer any other method of payment(irreversible), you'll get many sellers around here. The problem is that people who are new to the bitcoin usually don't have many options of payment, they are mainstream guys with credit cards and PayPal in 99% cases. There is not really much choice if you are seeking irreversible methods of payment outside cryptocurrency like bitcoin and various altcoins.

One option is use localbitcoins.com to arrange a meeting with someone who will sell bitcoin for cash. Another option is to withdraw cash from your bank, then use localbitcoins.com to find a seller who will take a cash deposit to his account. Cash deposits are not reversible unless you are the account owner. A third option is what exchanges like Coinbase does, and that is you transfer money to them, then wait a few days so they know you aren't going to reverse it, then buy the bitcoin.

If possible, go with coinbase. It's what I've used and have had no issues yet. Very simple too.

Don't think too much, my friend... Prices fluctuate, and you just need to grab an offer you find useful... If you are to start thinking, there are many factors like spreads, asks, bids, etc... So, just get an offer, go for an escrow of course, and then buy...

I think local bitcoins is also secured and user-friendly for new babes like me and you.
Alternatively, browsing trader's closer to your area is another option when buying from localbitcoins. In this way both of you can schedule for a meeting point if, you are skeptical of buying online.
My first purchase of bitcoins was online through the use of localbitcoins escrow service. Most trader's deposit btc in escrow and they release coin after payment has been made. All this is done in a timely manner based on specified timeframe by the seller. There a unique feature on localbitcoin that as soon as the buyer click "the Buy/purchase" button on LBC, the coin is no longer available to the seller. [This applies only to seller who has fund in their account] i.e the seller who has funded his account with 1btc cannot sell same coin to another buyer except the transaction was cancel, in that case the btc will be release from escrow to the seller.
Should in case any issue arise, the buyer can cancel specific trade and the btc will be returened to the seller's .
Thanks

I guess some members here can sell the bitcoin to this user without any problems but sure if he doesnt feel ready to try ,well always search for good companies that will offer this service with a fee ,but never something like what they charged you.

If anyone needs examples of why bitcoin might just fall on its face, just read this thread. Ugh. I swear, it's pain-in-the-ass experiences like this that turn me off, and sometimes it is hard to make purchases with btc for any number of reasons. OP, hopefully you got your fraction of a bitcoin.
