Definately double check this. You don't want to overpay more than 4 times for sure.

Can you see what you are exactly buying? The amount I mean. Maybe the 450 is indeed the price per bitcoin, but you are only buying part of that. Should show up somewhere on your screen.

What website are you using for the purchase?

Follow the below steps to get your bitcoin worth $100
Make an account with localbitcoins.com
Deposit $100 in your localbitcoins account
Search for a bitcoin seller near your area with the best rates possible according to correct rate
Send him a trade request, he will most likely accept and send you coins worth the amount.

P. S. Please check the trust feedback of the user before trading with him. If you need any sort of help during the process, message me.

Looks like a shitty trader. Can you buy from somewhere else? Just buy $100 of btc. Usually there is no need to buy more than you actually need.

Well, I have opened a localbitcoin account and have a wallet--but how can I fill it with $100 without first buying?

It doesn't say if the price is for 1 full bitcoin--but all the traders are reading similar prices.

So you are suspicious of Bitcoin because you are ignorant and do not know how to use it? This makes perfect sense.  Roll Eyes

I prefer exchanges such as Bitstamp. Have you tried one of those?

How do I do that? I have an address in my wallet. How do I make a credit card payment to my bitcoin account?

I will try him.

Yes, I am ignorant of bitcoin--and suspicious of everything online until I know it is trustworthy.

If you are suspicious of everything, it's best to do some research first before spending that $100
I would advice you to do some more research about bitcoin and how it works.

My friend, I suggest you use more credible services, like CCex or similar exchange to buy your BTC. You can use your debit card there to buy coins and this way s much more safe and secure then buying on localbitcoins, which is basically a flee market for BTC.

There are other secure options like Circle or Coinbase.

Take good care of your money.

For security, your account has been locked. Email acctcomp15@theymos.e4ward.com

Both are reversible(please no crappy "I'll send as gift as it can't be reversed" excuses, I've seen enough scams to know they can be reversed.)
If you can offer any other method of payment(irreversible), you'll get many sellers around here.
