To get more exposure for this maybe you could start a thread in the Altcoin marketplace as you will most likely get a lot more people interested and at the same time get more exposure to 1337 coin. I would also add this thread on there too so people can also check out what 1337 coin is all about. I will promote this contest on Twitter as well to hopefully spark some interest as the prize is really good at 1 million coins.

My question is, is there anyway of adding more connections to the 1337 network using the mac 1337 wallet version v1.8.0.0.? I tried creating a 1337.conf file like the windows people use, but my mac 1337-Wallet crashes when I put in in the /Application Support/1337 folder. I tried adding nodes using the console but the commands don't work. Can anyone help? Much thanks!

if its crashing maybe something inside the conig file is wron like adnode

hey ogtk, before you roll your eyes, it would be helpful if you provide some specific information on how to fix the crashing. Also, you have four misspellings in your post.  I'll explain for you:  its = it's or it is, conig = config,  wron = wrong,  adnode = addnode.

misspelling can cause a crash at startup. maybe post your config file then we can check it

You're welcome mate as most people start a thread on the Altcoin marketplace if they want to promote something or have a contest running as most people on here know where to go when looking for this kind of thing. And like I said also have a link to this ANN thread as it gets more exposure for the coin. Good luck and I'll look out for it as I'm in the section of the forum a lot lol.

never safe specially on POS coins, exchanges can easily close your account or disable withdrawal. you should store your coins on your personal wallet and you will be able to get stakes

Hey your answer is written 1 page back from this one.
If you do the same just go to ifile>go>home>Library>application support>1337 make a 1337.conf file and add the nodes works perfect.
it was a pain in the ass to find it you will need to make hidden folders visible first.

Hey guys,

i updated today to version 1.8.0. i had some coins missing from nova since i had the 1.7.0 wallet version i guess. After i updated the wallet, still the coins are not showing, i can see the coins and the completed transactions in the block explorer, and my wallet is stuck saying there are 0 connections. I also tried to start the wallet in another machine using a backup from my wallet, but there its not syncing at all, still having the problem with 0 connection. Can you give any idea on what should i do to troubleshoot this?

Edit: forgot to mention, i already have the 133.conf file with the nodes on both machines.
