From now on i would like to ask everyone that has something to say about c-cex, related to 1337 or not, to please post it in c-cex thread or tweet them or send them a support ticket. Do not post it in here or pm me about it.

Im the developer of a crypto-currency. im not affiliated with c-cex in any way. i try to make sure my coin works for everybody. if it would have been broke, id fix it or find someone to fix it. im not running a bank. i dont refund losses you encountered. if you buy coins on an exchange or send coins to there its your own choice and you put the responsibility of your holdings in the hands of the exchange owner(s). history has proven many times that's not always a good decision...

...

The exchange is Cryptopia...which I have never had a problem with before.

cryptopia appears to be in sync with the network, you shouldn't be having any problems really

are you running the wallet on windows or linux? linux has some minor problems still but I've always found the windows version extremely good as i use it for my linux wallet
when it has issues for faster syncs (delete blockchain from linux, sync on windows, transfer blockchain to linux) on the old version it happened every few days but on 1.8 im going a week or two between issues which is much better

All fixed a resync needed but all is well thanx for the help.

OOOK. Now my wallet self-destructed with over a million 1337's in it. "Assertion error c++ some thing". Is that a common error with a common solution ?

Windows 10. Avg and windows defender. Updated to latest version. Fail came after a reboot.

Do not ask me for debugging. I do not make this program!

PS: Apropos not debugging. Same goes for paccoin wallet. Can not load blkindex.dat.
Lucky for me there was no coins in that one.

Groestlcoin core. No problems.

Word is out.

Throw some "shit" and see what sticks.

Did you back up your 'wallet.dat' file? If you don't have a backup, navigate to C:/Users/AppData/Roaming/1337 and save a copy of the 'wallet.dat' file that is in the directory. It sounds like something was corrupted and you just need to repopulate your app data.

After you have your wallet.dat file backed up it's an easy fix. Just delete everything in your C:/Users/AppData/Roaming/1337 folder, reopen the 1337wallet.exe file to recreate the app data, then you just paste your backup wallet.dat file in the new C:/Users/AppData/Roaming/1337 directory.

You should then be back in business. I had this same error happen to me after my computer crashed while the wallet was syncing.

Here is a youtube explanation of the process. It's for Litecoin, but the error is the same and the process was identical for me.

Thanks guys for helping me to take this decision. I hope my older investors arent sad about this. dont worry guys, things are looking good imho.

Update:

- We have 2 MineCraft servers online for you guys. More info at worldof1337.com . you earn point in-game that you can convert to 1337 and you'll be able to spend 1337 to buy points to buy in-game items or Upgrades and more.

- Stake2Play's payment gateway was put on hold temporarily. Website and graphic work continued. ETA is next weekend. I might start on the forums first. Currently too busy.

- 1337FAH.com Our Folding @ Home Initiative: Payments are delayed till next wednesday. Stanfords API is most likely not working correct atm. You guys are doing a great job!

- Linux wallet: the problem seems to be related to some dependencies in  ubuntu 16.xx versions. its running fine on 14.04. I'm currently consulting some other devs to find a solution once and for all. In the meantime, please use the windows wallet through a vm or use ubuntu 14.04

- League of 1337: I will organize a CS:GO Tournament for you guys. Its a Team game so you get to invite some of your non-crypto friends too if you want Smiley This is more of a friendly match but if everything goes smooth we will have some serious eSports Events coming up.

- Currency Symbol Contest: Is going great so far. Dont forget to enter your bitcointalk usernames. There was a little error which made it impossible to enter names with numbers in them but thats fixed. (Dont worry Vella Wink )  You can still vote and join the free lottery at http://www.surveylegend.com/s/bk0

- Online RPG: Im going to work with the dev of our Snake Game at https://playforcrypto.com/ on this project "what about a online multiplayer rpg game that is open world and has a bunch of different mini games in it that you can earn 1337 from and you can use 1337 to get special in game items" We're looking for a 3D Game Model Designer. PM me if youre interested.

Thats it for now folks.

Thanks for posting the latest updates on where 1337 coin is at Velvet and thanks for allowing me to vote again and enter in the lottery lol Did you see my vote with just my Bitcointalk user name as vella? lol I won't say too much about C-cex exchange but I can say that I have had problems with them in the past with a few coins and have since stopped using them. People just need to stick with Cryptopia and Nova for now until hopefully one day 1337 coin will be listed on Bittrex or Polo. Keep up the great work Velvet!

I can promote your project on X to my 100k+ followers for a reasonable price. Just DM me for prices.

Thank you my good man!

I will try that.

PS: Please o please don't change logo. It's beatyfull and it says it all :-) What you could do is go and get a real job..

PPS: It worked.  The wallet.dat move.  (I choose to thank you again :-) ) I have 1.3 + million 1337 back on my account.
Had to move it to another computer to make the wallet work. The old installation is f*cked..

PPPS: I'm almost sure that the starting staking process triggered the anti virus program.

PPPPS: I added exception to the antivirus for the roaming folder. A second after some guy went totally crazy screaming outside my window. It's dark out there so i can't see a thing but i guess he is mad at his phone or something..

PPPPPS: Police is there now. End of story.

Throw some "shit" and see what sticks.

When will the voting for this logo contest end? and when will the draw for the lottery be done? By the way I might of missed it but what is the prize for the lottery winner? I can't wait to see which logo is the winner as they all look great.

By the way I've been talking to a couple of people on Twitter who are interested in 1337 coin and are seriously thinking about coming in. I told them that they would at least need 1 million+ 1337 coins to earn stakes regularly so hopefully they come in while the price is low.

Yeah, we have seen a great number of users lately and not surprised as the new development progresses. Even with less than 1 million coins, users can earn a fair amount especially with the current APR and adjusting splitthreshold, splitblock etc and it goes without saying we're one of the highest paying POS crypto.

Hello to all.

I would like to know what is "Generated but not accepted mined"?

Hey my man, Ive had that happen a multiple times out of about 40 mining transactions..  If you double click the ? on transaction list it explains it more.  Heres the info on it.  Generated coins must mature 210 blocks before they can be spent. When you generated this block, it was broadcast to the network to be added to the block chain. If it fails to get into the chain, its state will change to "not accepted" and it won't be spendable. This may occasionally happen if another node generates a block within a few seconds of yours.

No worries though, Ive had crazy mined coins already.  Good luck.

That's right 1 million is a good starting entry for new investors into 1337 coin. I just combined all my small amounts of 1337 coins into one large amount so in a day or so I should start earning some decent stakes and have set up splitthreshold, it's a cool little feature that will be earning me stakes for months on end.

I just combined all my small amounts of 1337 coins into one large amount so in a day or so I should start earning some decent stakes and have set up splitthreshold, it's a cool little feature that will be earning me stakes for months on end.
decent earnings that can be really become a lot when the value rise up I think its been a while and this project will go up after this downfall from btc and almost all alts 1337 will bounce up and holders will be very beneficial, good luck guys.
