Hi, I'm solo miner. Dunno what happened last several days, but number of earned blocks significantly dropped down from 6-10 blocks per day to 0-2 blocks... Nothing changed, only adding new plots to free space left. http://burstcoin.biz/address/chart/forged-blocks/11535416253791671974Noticed that all my 275 Tb of drives now can provide only large DeadLines - by one day or so, when several days ago miner was able to found short deadlines - seconds or minutes... Any suggestions what happened? Using BURST miner, v1.160705_AVX My scheme is several servers with large amount of drives and Gigabit links, where I adding all nonces folders to one server-miner as network drives... Nothing changed, but income felt down to almost zero... The Difficulty has grown and is hovering around 20K. Tons of new miners and the pools are gigantic. I added up the top pools, 5 Petabytes, 4PB, 3PB and 1.5PB. Solo Miners will notice they are finding less blocks. You also should notice the price will reflect this too since it is now more profitable to trade coins as people are positioned with investments and it forces others to buy in. If you are selling off your Burst you will never get position at this level again. People won't take a loss from where they buy in at so it stabilizes the market and competition is good. If the price does go down it is just a hedge for investors as there is a great market of 100 Bitcoin right now at Poloniex on the Buy side. You might want to buy back in if you were selling your daily earnings. This will augment your lack of finding blocks as the price goes up.

Yeah it sure has and this is not only happening with solo miners I have also noticed that now my brother and I are getting less deadlines under 1 day now and we mine in a pool which now the recommended TB's is over 3.5TB when it was just 2TB so Burst is growing at a rapid rate and will continue to grow. The price is now reflecting that hovering around the 130 sats range for a while now.

So if people didn't come in earlier, this is a 2nd chance they have before we hit the 1k sat range, which I think can easily happen at some point this year. Even my Dad is holding BURST now and it's his first crypto lol.

We have seen a nice increase in the price the last couple of weeks. I think we will make another low before we're going to test new highs, and that would mean 300 sat range to begin with Have a nice day everyone!

I agree with you, Burst is now starting to pick up some steam and is getting people's attention out there which is reflecting in the price rise over the last couple of weeks. The launch of Burst Nation has a lot to do with the current rise in price as more and more people are joining everyday and finding out about Burst. I agree that this is a second chance for anyone to get in on Burst now before we see 1,000 sats which I am confident we will see some time this year. I also have some family members invested in Burst and just recently I got my brother into Burst, well Burst mining and he is loving it so far and we have mined a few blocks already in just over 3 weeks. I also have my pop coming in as well with a few HDD's to mine so we are building a nice little mining rig between us.

yeah, we actually backed off on the matrix of hhd's that we have been putting together for the last six months because of the rising diff. normally I would say pump it hard because the value per coin will rise with the increased activity, and while this is a true statement, we have backed down a bit just because we have actually become rather fond of burst. as a new concept hatched not too long back, the proof of capacity model that burst uses versus the very small number of other coins that use capacity is a remarkable thing and we would rather push for longevity than instant gratification. we have always used the pools and the 4 confirmation protocol makes pool jumping a rough thing, which is good, but, at the same time, when you see pools failing and falling left and right and many pools falling into forks, that 4 confirmation rule can be a pain.
we were prepping for a launch of the burst power network, something we spoke of many months back and we still are going to do that. simple project allowing people to rent by the months X TB or even GB of "hosted" mining. we will still be plotting drives in preparation, but will wait for a little more stable environment to launch as a service. two things could happen, we could lose money or the clients could. if we charge the $10 per TB that we planned per month, we will be losing a lot of funds in the next few months, but if we charge more and the activity proves to be a fluke, then the clients lose out. time will tell. so, I personally predict this as a great time to plot drives, and possibly get into a pool. solo mining is out at the moment, unless your electricity is free. I will take this time to reiterate a few plotting/mining pointers for those that are jumping in just now because of the excitement.
1. Plot and mine separate folders on the same drive. You cannot with real success mine the same files that are being plotted. Even five finished plots and a plot in progress will cause multiple errors in the mining software, as it tries to mine the plot in progress. We use a "mine" and "plot" folder on the same drive. Using the same drive means that moving the files is very fast. You can even script into a batch file the plotting liat the nes, each followed by a move the file line, as long as you know what you are doing.
2. Use xplotter. If GPU plotting is super fast for you, then great, go with that. Most people find a moderate improvement over the CPU, but not that great. xplotter plots and optimizes at the same time and that means one task per plot. We plot small 50 GB plots. They are big enough to let run for a few minutes, but small enough to not get really pissed when the computer shits itself for some reason and you have to delete the unfinished plots. 3. Mine with your own software, not through the AIO wallet. We use jminer and the blago miner. The reason for all this is simply the ability to have more control over the software. Using batch files and other methods, you can completely control your mining. One thing that we did was create a root folder on the main computer drive and throw all the burst software in there that is not part of the AIO wallet. Then we added symbolic links to the exec/batch files in those folders to the "burst" folder and then added that folder to the environment path I'm Windows. That means that any command line terminal can run those from any directory. If this confuses you, then skip it, because it is a little involved.
4. Do not bother with the AIO wallet unless you are solo mining. Just use an online wallet and burst software for plotting and mining. The AIO wallet takes some time to sync and any major issue will cause a re-sync to be needed. If you download that wallet and are setting things up, then you are most likely using the online wallet anyway.
6. Last tidbits........many little hints we learned......
...if you are mining a pool, do not stop, your payouts decrease with time as you are not mining. ...the mining pools web interface is confusing for most...just learn to watch for your deadlines and payouts..learn the rest as you go ...name your wallet...in the upper right hand corner of the wallet screens,..it is cheap and makes keeping your info on the pools easier to track ...learn how to manually submit a TX...when the wallets are fighting each other and things are messy, sending the hash by hand is a great way to speed things up..for example...use the online burst wallet to do your pool reward assignment, that screen will return a JSON if you did it right....in that JSON is the signed and the unsigned hash info, keep that webpage open until you see your TX in your wallet. if there is an issue, use the wallet and enter the TX using the hash, you will see it appear immediately. ...lastly, keep in mind that this is money in a very technical sense and that the coins have value. we have all done it. we see that there are so many things that can be done, like crowd funding, creating your own token and the rest. right now, 5000 Burst is worth about $7. If you really want to create your own coin or asset inside of Burst, go for it, but bear in mind that you just bought a fancy little $7 toy that gets real boring real quick. The few burst it takes to name your wallet is very useful in watching your address on the right pools. it is much easier to see "mywallettoken" in a list than the address. Spend your money wisely, the best investment you can make as a first investment is a responsible attitude.

So, some people have bought so called "CCMINER_100TB Asset". I'm gonna disappoint you, because you will never get your BURST back in full. Below you can see simple excel calculations with block reward decreasing in 5% every month. After 5 years you will get only 4 millions of 6 millions BURST invested. Writed this to prevent new users from buying his new asset on 1000TB. I did not include block reward from fee, as i did not include growing difficulty either. And he get about 1000$ profit from every 100TB asset sold. ( 6000000*0.0000007*900 = 3780. 8TB drive cost 210$ at high. 13*210=2730) months monthly reward total investment returned of 6 000 000 BURST 1 209 600,00 209 600,00 2 199 120,00 408 720,00 3 189 164,00 597 884,00 4 179 705,80 777 589,80 5 170 720,51 948 310,31 6 162 184,48 1 110 494,79 7 154 075,26 1 264 570,05 8 146 371,50 1 410 941,55 9 139 052,92 1 549 994,47 10 132 100,28 1 682 094,75 11 125 495,26 1 807 590,01 12 119 220,50 1 926 810,51 13 113 259,47 2 040 069,99 14 107 596,50 2 147 666,49 15 102 216,68 2 249 883,16 16 97 105,84 2 346 989,01 17 92 250,55 2 439 239,55 18 87 638,02 2 526 877,58 19 83 256,12 2 610 133,70 20 79 093,32 2 689 227,01 21 75 138,65 2 764 365,66 22 71 381,72 2 835 747,38 23 67 812,63 2 903 560,01 24 64 422,00 2 967 982,01 25 61 200,90 3 029 182,91 26 58 140,85 3 087 323,76 27 55 233,81 3 142 557,58 28 52 472,12 3 195 029,70 29 49 848,52 3 244 878,21 30 47 356,09 3 292 234,30 31 44 988,28 3 337 222,59 32 42 738,87 3 379 961,46 33 40 601,93 3 420 563,38 34 38 571,83 3 459 135,22 35 36 643,24 3 495 778,45 36 34 811,08 3 530 589,53 37 33 070,52 3 563 660,06 38 31 417,00 3 595 077,05 39 29 846,15 3 624 923,20 40 28 353,84 3 653 277,04 41 26 936,15 3 680 213,19 42 25 589,34 3 705 802,53 43 24 309,87 3 730 112,40 44 23 094,38 3 753 206,78 45 21 939,66 3 775 146,44 46 20 842,68 3 795 989,12 47 19 800,54 3 815 789,66 48 18 810,52 3 834 600,18 49 17 869,99 3 852 470,17 50 16 976,49 3 869 446,66 51 16 127,67 3 885 574,33 52 15 321,28 3 900 895,61 53 14 555,22 3 915 450,83 54 13 827,46 3 929 278,29 55 13 136,09 3 942 414,38 56 12 479,28 3 954 893,66 57 11 855,32 3 966 748,98 58 11 262,55 3 978 011,53 59 10 699,42 3 988 710,95 60 10 164,45 3 998 875,40 61 9 656,23 4 008 531,63 62 9 173,42 4 017 705,05 63 8 714,75 4 026 419,80 64 8 279,01 4 034 698,81 65 7 865,06 4 042 563,87 66 7 471,81 4 050 035,67 67 7 098,22 4 057 133,89 68 6 743,31 4 063 877,20 69 6 406,14 4 070 283,34 70 6 085,83 4 076 369,17 71 5 781,54 4 082 150,71 72 5 492,46 4 087 643,18 73 5 217,84 4 092 861,02 74 4 956,95 4 097 817,97 75 4 709,10 4 102 527,07 76 4 473,65 4 107 000,71 77 4 249,96 4 111 250,68 78 4 037,47 4 115 288,14 79 3 835,59 4 119 123,74 80 3 643,81 4 122 767,55 81 3 461,62 4 126 229,17 82 3 288,54 4 129 517,71 83 3 124,11 4 132 641,83 84 2 967,91 4 135 609,74
So as i was predicted, your return in burst has dropped. And i think ccminer was overpaying at first time, so people will see this asset as profitable thing. After 4 months you received total only 690'000 of 6'000'000 Bursts, which is fully corresponds to my previous calculations(even less). Such unprofitable move.

I am curious about the asset, what is the address that it used so I can look it up more quickly please. was this a share of a total of 100 TB or what? that is a pretty heathty set of plots even today if used well, but there are always two reasons why a person is selling something. we considered renting out much smaller plots to help people get started, but also for a mild profit. yet, if there is someone sitting on 100 TB of plots, why are they simply mining them? there is always a reason why a revenue promised model is being sold or pieced out, usually the reason is that the revenue is not there in the first place to make it worthwhile and people paying is a higher revenue. Or, giving the benefit of the doubt we could say that the asset has to intention of using those invested funds to build up to 100 TB and would just pay what they predicted that plot would produce out as dividends.

Well he is really mining with some plots, but i think it's about 60TB (not 100TB). He provided adress at https://forums.burst-team.us/topic/2466/sold-out-ccminer_100tb-new-asset/ . But there is too much messages to find it now, you can still try. As i stated before he make about 1000$ per 100TB of shares sold, so i think it's the point.

Well he is really mining with some plots, but i think it's about 60TB (not 100TB). He provided adress at https://forums.burst-team.us/topic/2466/sold-out-ccminer_100tb-new-asset/ . But there is too much messages to find it now, you can still try. As i stated before he make about 1000$ per 100TB of shares sold, so i think it's the point. thanks, I will take a peek, I wish that there was a better way to search the assets, I usually hit the online list and ctrl+f, but not all of them are there edit: I see it from the first line of his post...he had 10 TB mining then and was going to use the investments to build up. it is a good plan for a business idea, and who knows how it worked out for him, but things are very different now.

Now with so many different types of people entering burt and the heavy marketing around it, I think this is just the beginning of the up hill climb. So if people didn't come in earlier, this is a 2nd chance they have before we hit the 1k sat range, which I think can easily happen at some point this year. Even my Dad is holding BURST now and it's his first crypto lol. I made a video about this yesterday on saving Burst and opening wallets for all the family..I will be doing tons of videos from now on at least once or twice a week,.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-XSF_OKDf-sNice video! I have had great success using word of mouth at getting people into Burst as I have already got 2 family members into Burst my pop and now my brother and maybe my step father is thinking about investing some money into Burst. I have also got a few friends on Facebook and Twitter into Burst and even a couple elsewhere on other forums and all are very happy with Burst and where the coin is heading. My pop has put in around 1k and so did a friend of mine on another forum who put in around 1k as well back when Burst was only around 30 or so sats. Right now they are sitting on a nice profit but are going to hold for the long term like myself and most of the people holding Burst. They have all invested into assets as well, mainly Crowetic's assets as I told them that they are the ones we can trust the most. Keep up the good work and I look forward to seeing more of your videos on Burst.

You need to factor this from the ccminer_100TB OP into your calculation. In case the minig will get unprofitable and I'll be force to close the asset!
I'll sell all the HD I purchased with the asset money minus a fee for me All the money I'll get from selling the HD will be convertend into burst and I'll start to buy back the asset quantity sold, to liquidate the asset.Rich

He will sell them now (for example) at max 75% of price. You retrieved 11,5% of invested BURST. 100-(75+11,5) = 13,5% LOSS already + How much fee he want to take? And i did not add at calculations growing difficulty, which is now growth dramatically. And WHAT IS : "Unprofitable mining"?. Do you know? Tell me. Maybe ccminer already told about it? All the money I'll get from selling the HD will be convertend into burst and I'll start to buy back the asset quantity sold, to liquidate the asset.
AND he want to convert sold hdd's into BURST. BUT. Now price of BURST is two times higher so let's recalculate: 100-((75/2)+11,5) = 51% LOSS . What do you think now???

I sold all my CCMINER_100TB assets when it was just over 10 Burst coins each so I made a small profit as I also received several weeks of dividends on top of that. I was a big supporter of this asset before I found out that the person running it wasn't telling the whole truth about his other asset so that is when I decided to sell all my assets in this one and invested it all into Crowetic's assets such as Burstaker, BSilver and ByteEnt.

Same here. I sold all and make a profit. There are much more safer , reliable , and most importantly , more profitable assets out there. It doesn't make any sense to buy ccminer asset now.

It has come to my attention that another asset on the exchange is not what it says it is and that the investors including myself have been lied too about the amount of traffic this particular asset is base on. This is a must watch video about the asset Burstize https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NKvdBrWRQ8o

Yes ccminer tried to cover up late delivery of Drives when needing to change supplier and was Mining with a lot less TB than he was claiming. However he has since taken delivery of all of the Drives and has been making up the shortfall in Mining Revenue from other sources while the Drives are Plotting. Asset now looks like it will be expanded into GPU Mining which will strengthen and diversify it. I remained a supporter as I feel everyone deserves a second chance. Rich
