Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear?

i dont think so, the banks will have to accept the system and have to keep pace with it. but they will survive

it is possible to lose the bank when the bank loses money in a country its effect will also lose the local fiat money or total money in nationwide.

what is the effect of losing fiat money?
the most affected the bank is I think it's not good for bitcoin to lose the fiat money and bank. If we think that the fiat money is gone and the human target has moved to bitcoin here that the price of another altcoin will increase. Because the fiat is gone and the bitcoin bank is taking taxes the governments do not have any local money alone in digital money bitcoin.

Is that ny opinion only. that's why I run into my mind when the fiat money and the bank are gone.

No, I don't think so that bank will completely get disappear . bitcoin will definately makes its place in the market . Till now so many people are not aware about bitcoin we have to make them aware about bitcoin.

Other people want to secure their all money. So i guess that will never happen. Bitcoin is very risky because of its features. You could lose it without knowing it. Ofcourse banks also vulnerable to bad elements but it is centralize and more secure than bitcoin. Bank is your better option in terms of security.

That is true. But I dont think it possible to disappear a bank. Many people use banks and that is really important for them.I think it will possible in the future because everything is gonna be digital in the future so.

banks carry professional investigation services in attempt to stop fraud and to inquire more info on the transactions.They stop scams in most of the cases but they keep track of every transaction and have their control over it but bitcoin doesn't.Bank owners are clever enough to see why bitcoin is going strong as it matures, and most probably one day, they will do their best  to cope up with it and survive...

Government also make their transactions so transparent. It would be easy to identify the right party.  Bitcoin should replace bank's place in future.to less people know about bitcoin and hard to understand for some people and im sure one day the would understand and change to more good things just like bitcoin..

I think it would really take more time, maybe years from now or we might not see it anymore if it happens, banks are everywhere and fiat is in there, and fiat runs the economy, so if it will make banks disappear, where will we put our paper money...so I think it is far from happening at this lifetime.

I just hope the banks especially the government accepts bitcoin. There is also a possibility that bitcoin and other digital currencies can be banned since a lot of countries sees bitcoin a big threat to their economy. Banks can also be affected by it since saving this bitcoin and other digital currency don't need banks, you can just store it in a hardware and it will be ok.

This is not going to happen for next 100 years in my country (India). There are a lot of people here in rural areas who cannot fill forms of banks offline even.

If bank will accept bitcoin it will be subject to a strict law, we know bank, they have set of policies that they want to impose to us.
Bitcoin is decentralized, we should maintain that all the time so we will have the real freedom as a user.

Bitcoin is a currency. It has different purpose why it is made. I believe it cannot make banks disappear since there are services that banks do that cannot be done by Bitcoin. Bitcoin might lessen the services of a bank but it will not be a substitute.

They will not dissapear they will support the bitcoin to accept bitcoin transaction because so many bank in my country is not accepting bitcoin transaction only in western union,palawan etc..

Yes obviously if the transaction speed of bitcoin will get improve and the lightening speed will be introduced than banks will obviously disappear as the people here can get alot of benefits from bitcoin while moving to any foreign state and keeping there funds secure and anonymous . Well lets see whats gonna happen because most of the world is now aware of the bitcoin and its facilitation and scope , success of bitcoin is the total prove of the peoples trust on it .

No both serves different purpose and bitcoin can't make bank disappear because old guys depends totally on bank for financial matter but icky some of the teens like me depends on bitcoin for earning so we 1 and 2 people can't make the change. Even bitcoin is not accepted by all government and for transaction to those countries will need bank transfer.
