We want to thank the community that has been involved in and supporting BUZZCOIN. We started this project to create a unique high pos coin that would hold its value using high transaction fees encouraging users to store and stake their BUZZ instead of immediately selling off the stake earned. We will be releasing a hard fork update to rebrand and resolve the issues addressed below:
-Increase coin supply to 10 Billion BUZZ.
(With the coin sitting mostly dormant for a while, minimal fees were being burned so coin supply increased)
-Increase max fee to 1 Billion BUZZ.
(Our original max fee was based off of a much higher price and fewer coin supply. We will be increasing the max fee to make the fees fair to large and small stakers alike)
-100% of fees will be burnt.
(Will be burning 100% of fees to control inflation)
-25% txFee fix.
(There was a bug in the 25% txFee code that would sometimes charge random amounts. This has been fixed. Percentage based txFees have never been done before the way that we are implementing them. This is what makes BUZZCOIN unique)
-New look
(We have rebranded BUZZCOIN'S Image including new icons and splash screen)
-Coin Control
(We know a lot of users are asking for no fee when sending to yourself. We are considering this and looking at the code involved but it is tricky. We are very happy with the current situation as not being able to combine blocks with out paying a fee has stabilized our difficulty allowing all size stakers the ability to more consistently mine pos blocks than other similar coins. We will open a discussion on Discord to see where the community wants to take the coin control features)
