Likely you did not follow directions to a T.....  Save wallet file..... delete all files in buzz folder in c drive in user in user name in app data in roaming in buzz folder..... then download 2.1 and delete 2.0 buzz qt..... then download bootstrap and extract.... put all files in the buzz folder in roaming...... move wallet.dat file into buzz folder also.... fire up buzz..... you should sync and be fine

After updating Wallet ver.2.1.0.0-g32a928emy  coins have been lost , why?

Who knows more than anyone was telling me?

My best guess as I lost 100k coins is that we were on the old coin chain getting more and more stakes because fewer and fewer people were on that chain.... Stakes started coming like crazy.... there are still some people who think everything is working great on that chain and are over joyed by the fact they are staking so often...   They will have an unpleasent surprise when they go and try to transfer that coin to an exchange as it will not exist at the exchange....  They wont have staked anyting worth anything.....  My advice if you want to keep this coin is to make sure you have the right wallet v2.1 Then make sure you take the bootstrap file from the webpage, go and delete the app data file that currently exists and then paste the new files in that folder......  DONT FORGET to back up your wallet twice.....  then add the wallet file to that folder also.  fire up buzz 2.1 and it should start to sync.... make sure you are on the same block as the explorer when that is finished.....  Then you will start staking again.... much slower than you were on the old chain but you will be able to transfer the coin to an exhange and sell when you want.... after the 25% haircut of course....

25% fee was scrapped that was the whole point of the 2nd fork

there's no way to know
check the estimated time on your wallet and you'll have an idea
usually takes less.

Thanks, I think a lot of people missed that information on the bootstrap because they are just used to downloading and installing. Appreciate the info, I'm sure it will help quite a few people.
