Just had a look at your web site - looking to see that last block that was a little vague in the posts here Smiley
Good luck there Smiley

Minor problem on the site:
You need to correct that totals section of the Blocks page.
That total % number in the bottom right isn't actually of any meaningful use.

If you have a look at mine, I have 2 numbers: "Diff%" and "Mean%" and you can see how they vary.
Diff% is what you are displaying at the bottom right at the moment.
I have that for "Interest only", since it's Mean% that matters in any long term calculations (since Network Difficulty changes)
Mean% being the average % of the blocks.

To explain with a contrived example:
If a block was 250 Diff and Network was 1000 - that would be a 25% block
If another block was 1500 Diff and Network was 2000 - that would be a 75% block

The Mean% of the two blocks is of course ((25% + 75%) / 2) = 50% <- which make obvious sense in this example

However the Diff% is (250 + 1500)/(1000 + 2000) = 1750/3000 = 58.3% <- which really means nothing in terms of any calculations Smiley

So yeah, basically that totals line is rather meaningless, it really should just be the Mean% on it's own.

Edit: oh, ok, that's the whole "Block Overview" table also - yeah that needs fixing also.

Yeah don't post on our thread to try and send our members to other pools, we don't do that in Johnny's thread out of respect to him.

I need to take that down.  You can't mine with video cards any more the difficulty is way to high.   Probably need to set up an Ethereum pool..

Might be a stupid question, but I am going to ask any way. I just noticed that for the last 3 days my payout has not moved much pretty much stuck on 0.028 BTC , but my shares keep increasing. Can you let me know why that's happening?

Thanks

Payout is basically the ratio to your hash speed versus the total hash speed of the pool. That's why.

SO I am currently minign at roughly 8.5 Th/s while the Pool is at 3630 Th/s. So basically how ever long I mine I am not going to make more than 0.02927 BTC per block?

Assuming your hash rate and the total hashrate stays the same throughout the round that is correct. If our total hashrate goes up or your hash rate goes down you would make less per round. The upside to having a higher total hashrate is the frequency of finding blocks. Right now at our current hashrate we should average about 1 block a week.

Actually it is down to 6 days.

Issue at hosting facility so 225 miners are offline. Should be running at 3.3PH again once problem is solved then we can go back to cracking this block  Grin
