How long until we can trade a house for a single bitcoin??
1 year, 2 years, 3 years?? What do you think about it?
Depends on the house, there are some houses that we can trade even now with 1 bitcoin but there are houses that would need many years from now to be traded with just one bitcoin. |

No need to wait 10 years, I know a couple of kids who would gladly sell you their treehouse for 1 Bitcoin today  Although it might be a bit awkward when the parents find out there is a stranger living in a tree in their backyard. Seriously though, I doubt you'll ever be able to buy a house with just one Bitcoin at least not in cities. |

Why would you try and trade your house in for just one Bitcoin. I never believe that just one Bitcoin is going to be worth more then a whole house in the future. Do not do this because you will regret it. yeah thats sounds just like bullshit because most probably you can get way more for that, of course it also depends on your house |

It is. You can't buy a house with 1 bitcoin, even in my country, at least you need 2-4 bitcoins to get 1 house and it's not buy, but rent. Trade a house must need many bitcoins, not only 1 bitcoin. |

That is a very broad statement. I'm sure there is probably a very small shit box of a house sitting on the back of someone property now that he would be willing to sell for 1 bitcoin. Then there is the other end of the scale where one day a brownstone may fetch 1 bitcoin. For the average medium house price in my area is about 500k so you are talking a long time down the road and we have to make sure bitcoin goes that far first, any other coin could possibly take over before bitcoin reaches that price. |

Depends on what kind of house are we talking here, it should be properly evaluated base on the location and the site of house and lot. Because when you trade a house it is understood that you also owned the land as the law says the land follows the accessories therefore you cannot sell the house when you do not owned the land. |

It is. You can't buy a house with 1 bitcoin, even in my country, at least you need 2-4 bitcoins to get 1 house and it's not buy, but rent. Trade a house must need many bitcoins, not only 1 bitcoin. Maybe 10years from now it would be possible to buy a house for 1 BITCOIN. But for now it isn't possible. I would never trade my house for just one Bitcoin because I do not believe that the Bitcoin is going to be worth more then my house is at the moment. My house is my base en I would not sell it without a plan. |

Well, that depends of what kind of house in what part of the world are we talking about. In some parts of the world you can already trade a house for less then 1Bitcoin. So, actualy this is hard to say. But to my opinion the price should rise at least to 6000 or 7000$ for single Bitcoin so that trading could be possible. Having.in mind the prices for cheap houses in my country.

I am not sure if we will ever come to a point wherein a bitcoin would be equal to the value of a house. The value of an asset like a house appreciates overtime if well taken cared of and if it is in a good location. Bitcoin, on the other hand, can fluctuate from time to time and can even become obsolete if something better comes along.
