Hello all,

we are playing with the thought of buying Bitfury 16nm chips - and I'm sure we're not the only ones... Is there anybody with a proven miner-production track record wanting to partner up, increase the volume a bit?

It's of course a pretty early stage and still significant details are missing about the chip to make a design. Anybody interested, please let me know Smiley

Its available under NDA almost immediately, and test chips after a few more hoops.

What's the means of contacting them in order to start those hoops? I'm having no luck so far.

Cool, quiet and up to 1TH pod miner, on sale now!

To my knowledge BitFury has remained pretty silent on this chip as far as development and integration goes. As with basically every other BitFury announcement we should probably assume this chip doesn't exist until we see concrete proof of it in action.

You need to order chips to the tune of ~1M$...

So you have to lay down a $1M order on the chips sight-unseen in order to get information about the chips? Either that's not correct or that's powerfully stupid.

No - all you gotta do is make them believe you might, and btw - they are willing to show you the chips.

Looks like these chips are TSMC chips with an output of 1.750 Watt for a 25TH miner, excact same output as Yesminer chips.

Could be wrong though, since the 3D FinFeet should lower the power need even more, but still a hughe bump up going to have a 20TH miner with 1500Watt power.

I think making them believe it is not going to be as easy as this sounds.  I think they will look up past projects and if you are not a huge bulk customer like you mentioned 1 million (possibly less) they are not going to even talk to you.

And those who have looked at them an know a lot like Dogie mentioned are under NDA.  So we really have no idea who has seen it or what plans are.  I don't expect NDAs to be lifted anytime soon.   I bet they want to make their own internal miners, and chips to sell to those who bought in.  After that if they need more customers maybe NDA are lifted and we hear from more people.

For technical docs no so much.

So 13 USD per chip for 50 GHs, way to expensive for production
For engineering it is OK
